I actually don't have a problem with her jawline at all. It gives her a more badass look.
Antje Traue for example, the actress who plays Faora in Man of Steel also has a wide jawline but still looks really sexy and badass in my eyes. She looks like the real life version of Cassandra.

Now SHE looks gorgeous. Animated and digitalized, Jawssandra looks weird to me.

You haven't met a lot of women then....
Lol, of course not. There aren't any women in my mother's basement, where I spend my days writing comments about women's jawlines.

From me a definite yay though her neck looks too frail. You'd think that a warrior would have some muscles there

Her neck is definitely too slim which makes her jaw look even wider. About the flattering angle, here is another pic of her, her jaw is definitely not as massive as Cassandras:

I think Cassandra should have been modeled after her.

See a character at a different angle and BSN acts like its a completely different character and they must have changed something.
Isabela also had a "monster jaw". Oh wait, she doesn't, they just shot her from a low angle the one time.
Go to the bathroom, stand in front of the mirror, and look up.
Note to Bioware, never show female characters looking up!!11!!!!!!1!
she doesn't look fourteen to me at all. Definitely younger than her stated thirties-forties age, say around her mid-late twenties perhaps - but not fourteen. o__0 ttly subjective and in the eye of the beholder tho of coursePsychoBlonde wrote...

I think all three returning characters in the trailer looked exceptional, much better than in their original games. I also think Mr. Gaider was right about people putting too much focus (and criticism) on the appearance of female characters.
My only issue with Cassandra's appearance (if you can call it that, I don't really care either way), is that she looks 14 to me in the trailer. MORRIGAN looks like she's pushing 40 but still Hawt. CASSANDRA went from looking late 20's early 30's in DA2 to looking 14. Maybe that was just an artifact of the lighting.
I liked Varric better when his eyes were closer together and his jaw more pronounced, but I can live with the new version particularly when I get to hear Brian Bloom's sweet sweet voice again.
I want him to but am predicting he won't, expecting him to be mentioned in a "I had a mage friend like you once" type commentAzaron Nightblade wrote...

I liked her look there too.
Of course with the difference in art styles... I can see why she'd look different in game.
Makes me wonder if the mage, Galyan will make an appearance in DA:I too - though the likely answer there will be no.
it's def varric, it was confirmed.Viper371 wrote...
Varric, if that's him though... well, this guy did have an extreme makeover on him. I'm not sure what to think of his look, only that it doesn't really look like the Varric from DA2. I'm not saying it's a bad thing, just that it needs some getting used to
anyway yeah she reminded me of Madison Paige from HR as well [this is a good thing to me]

But anyway - Cassandra looks all right, if somewhat different than she did before. She looks more warrior, and less of a supermodel who's just had the makeup artist do the smokey eye look on her.

+ 100 approval.
I have faith that Bioware will stick with their designs. If Morrigan's moles are removed because people complained about her lack of symmetry, I'll be devastated. Likewise with her and Cass' jawlines.
Not every woman has an oval face shape.

Yeah..I couldn't put my finger on it, but you're right--the neck is too thin. Also god...damn, that chick is hot! I fell in love! I don't know if it's the eyes or the hair or the skin tone or the lips or f*ck it, the jaw, lol.

Yeah, probably a dead friend... =/
I don't see his chances being very good when the Templar-Mage conflict rages across Thedas.

What was he right about? The fact that this actually occurs? Yes, he is correct in that sense. Too much focus and criticism is placed upon a female character's physical appearence, and not upon admirable qualities she may posses. I believe this to be absolutely true.
However, what is also true is that this hyper-focus on how a female looks is present in real life every-day society, it is not limited to the BSN. And everyone does it. Everyone. This isn't something that is limited to boarish, sexist men as some people would love to believe.
In fact, some females are much more critical of another woman's appearence than any man would be....somehow that gets lost in the shuffle though. Whenever someone brings up a point about people being too obsessed with how a woman looks, they forget to mention a lot of those "people" are women. Hmmmm.....I wonder nobody mentions that? Accident, I'm sure.
It's a very unfortunate aspect of our society. Much more emphasis and focus is placed upon a women's physical appearence and not nearly enough on her intelligience, wit, or personality. But leaving out that woman also take part in the judging implies that this problem stems completely from sexism; which is, at best, only half true.

The trailer content is in-engine. It's not like the Sacred Ashes trailer that was all pre-rendered CGI that had nothing to do with the game's architecture. What we've seen of DAI so far is potentially actual footage from DAI. It's cutscene footage, not gameplay footage, but it's still in-engine.xxx2emo4Uxxx wrote...
