which means that they can tweak it if need be. And really the only problem is that her neck is too thin. If it was wider her jaw wouldn't stand out nearly as much.Sylvius the Mad wrote...
The trailer content is in-engine. It's not like the Sacred Ashes trailer that was all pre-rendered CGI that had nothing to do with the game's architecture. What we've seen of DAI so far is potentially actual footage from DAI. It's cutscene footage, not gameplay footage, but it's still in-engine.xxx2emo4Uxxx wrote...
i think those ridicilous jaws are just trailer thing.. morrigan has one too xD

Varric is so hot now, oh my god I've never thought male Dwarves looked attractive until now.

She looked good in the trailer. Much
better than in DA2, too cartoonish, not detailed enough, too smooth.
That said, don't know why they didn't keep her eyes brown.
I agree, I think she looks waayyy better than she DA2. I don't know how some people couldn't recognize her immediately? I personally think she looks also hot.

Please, Bioware if you're reading this from a long time fan consider re-doing her face (head). Thanks.

Like in many CC, some may prefer blemishes of complexion; others do not. In the case of NPC's, perhaps this will reflect choices made in creating the Inquisitor like in DA2 with Hawke's family. If the Inquisitor has battle scars, this may mean that companions also saw such combat damage.
In any case, too soon to make that call, IMO.

Anyone who thought her old look was even decently good, needs to play some games with better-looking engines.

I can't get her friggin' jaw out of my head.
indeed (as well as the over all look - somehow all characters we have seen so far (at least those we have had in the past games already!) seem to look worse in the new engine (is this a reversal of the re-designs in Mass Effect (and DA2) were characters were made more beautiful?)
so that is a re-sounding: NAY!
greetings LAX
ps: note: i would want the old appearances back (they were fine - especially Cassy and Morrigan (both looked exceptionally hot IMHO and very beautiful - and now they are borderline ugly IMHO))

I think all three returning characters in the trailer looked exceptional, much better than in their original games. I also think Mr. Gaider was right about people putting too much focus (and criticism) on the appearance of female characters.
Agreed. I personally think that Varric looked the most strikingly different, but I don't see any threads going on and on about how "odd" he looks or if we approve of his new look.
It's a new engine, of course these characters aren't going to look the exact same as they did in DAO or DAII. Can't we just be glad to have them back?
Why is he a brunette now? I didn't recognize him except for Bianca, and even then needed someone to confirm it.

Huh. She seems more filled out in DAI, to me.

I liked her much better in DA2, she had curves and a slightly rounded face (my fav) in DAI she is too skinny and looks like they are trying to give her that stick and bones super model look. Pfffftttt...I'll take curves any day TYVM
She's wearing plate armor, which tends to hide curves.

And I'm very happy that we're going to get realistic looking faces with skin complexion and details for the first time in DA. About bloody time!
