I'm not in favor of having all characters look beautiful and attractive just so the players can engage with them. Different and diverse characters are in part what's interesting about these games.

But in Cassandra's case she simply has not had that enlarged jaw before. Not in DA2 and not in DADotS, so it's weird that she has one now, as if she had surgery and it went awry.

Her jaw doesn't look wider to me in DAI, this is a screen from DA2 for comparison.

I don't think so. I think that the scene from where it was taken is the best so far to see her face.
Plus, her face could still be modified.

I feel the same. I like her new look. The white hair might work for her still, but depending of facial features and how theyre modeled, it may have made her look too old and thus changed.

 I still wanted her to stay pretty, but i guess it makes since she has some scars and isn't supermodel gorgeous as she comes from a family of Dragon Slayers, and is a warrior.

I think a lot of this she looks fine to me talk is from people pleased with how the game is going, so they don't want to say anything negative .
DAI looks great to me so far. Congrats Bioware.
However, I don't like the way Cassandra's face looks. I preferred her look in DA2.
I don't like the way Morrigans face looks in the trailer .
I don't buy the she's aged excuse some players are using.
I hope they both get redrawn.
This is in no way a criticism of the Bioware staff and I hope none of them take it personally.

I actually didn't care for her original look either, I didn't mind the animated version but in truth i don't think they have ever gotten that characters look just quite right.

And Morrigan can look however she wants; Decapitated mages look the same in the dirt.

I like Cassandra's new look. After seeing her properly in the demo from different angles she actually looks closer to her DA2 appearance that I initially thought. I love all the little facial details they've given her, like the little scars 'n' stuff.

No, I really think she looks amazing. She looks strong and beautiful.

Oh, I get it. I thought it was a reference to a DA character. Haven't played FFX in decades. I see it now. Well, except for the bust. Morrigan has a long way to go there.

I'm about 80% sure that, if able, my main character (male human rogue) will romance her. That 20% is just there because there are still 6 characters we haven't meet, but for someone to take her place, they'd have to be more than perfect, cause Cass is perfect (unless the writers have taken her "character development," some place really weird, which is another reason for that 20%).

Edit: Cass is for me what Cullen is to all his Fangirls... lol
