I like the new look a lot but I have to admit at the moment I prefer the DA:2 look.

I'll reserve full judgement until I see good quality shots from the new game.

DAI looks great to me so far. Congrats Bioware.
However, I don't like the way Cassandra's face looks. I preferred her look in DA2.
I don't like the way Morrigans face looks in the trailer .
I don't buy the she's aged excuse some players are using.
I hope they both get redrawn.
This is in no way a criticism of the Bioware staff and I hope none of them take it personally.

I'm in the camp of those who like, and even prefer, her Inquisition design. So Yay. In DA2 we were given the sense that she was really more of just an interrogator. Cold, precise, but not much of a warrior or physically imposing woman.

However, in the lore, we're led to believe that she is, in fact, a physically powerful woman and a great Knight and Solider who serves, when needed, as even the fist of the Divine. The Inquisition design takes it's cues somewhat from Aveline in presenting a woman of both physical stature and stength with a hard, cool beauty to boot.

As such, I'm actually rather thankful they went with a design that support her background, history, and skills.

I wonder how feasible/costly it would be to incorporate a changing table that accommodated followers as well as our next hero? Hair, eyes, make up change, facial looks can’t be that complex to anymore.

Resounding nay from me. Her features are just way to jarring and exaggerated, and it's even worse when compared to her appearance in DA2. If you didn't tell me it was her I wouldn't have known and that's not good. Varric got some changes to his appearance but when you look at him you know it's him still.

I don't need nor care if Cassandra is pretty or attractive like in DA2, I'm fine with trying to toughen up her appearance, but the current model is just really off looking especially compared to everyone else we've seen in the game. She looks out of place. We'd be lucky if she actually looked like Antje Traue.

I love her jaw. I like masculine features in women for some reason. A square jaw looks amazing on a woman in my eyes. The scars on her face add flavour!

I'm hoping she has a muscular body with a raging six pack, she can bench press me any day.

I think 'latern-jaw' Cassandra is incredibly beautiful, more-so for being her own beauty than the generic 'heart-face, button-nose' beauty that so many characters are provided with as to being almost plastic-mannequin boring. I really didn't like her look in the anime movie (though the movie over all was very disappointing).


I saw what happened when people in the beta complained about fem!worgen in WOW:Cataclysm. Nobody got out of that unscathed. I think even the people saying 'they're not fierce enough' would not have been glad they got turned into scrunch-faced chihuahua's.
Just trust that the art team knows what they are doing and trying to convey. They may take us into account, but if they let the uninformed (or uneducationed) masses of fans make all their decisions the resulting product will suffer immensly for it.

And its all pre-alpha as in not finished. Anyone remember how Morrigan looked like pre-alpha before we saw the finished product?

Regardless its a yay for me. Really hoping to romance and/or get to know her more then just the lore and movie.

While her jaw line is rather strong, and factors into my dislike somewhat, it's nothing unreasonable, though it's far stronger than it was in DA2. Regardless I really don't have that big issue with her jaw, I actually like strong jaws on a lot of women. My problem is mainly with her cheekbones and eyebrows, they're quite exaggerated making the top of her face look really off and her eyes as a result look weird to me and nothing like her former self. Her nose also looks bizarrely small for such a large face with strong features. It all comes off to me as cartoonish while the rest of the game does not at all.

She looks like a PC hastily made in the original ME character creator, the basic outline of what you want is there and you thought it looked good at first but in the light of the game it's just way off and requires you to go back and make some changes and refinements in order to look good. 

I will say what short glimpse we got of her from the PAX footage she did look a bit better, but still overall for me she is a disappointment.
