I think my Valkyrie currently rocks Lasting Damage though.

The Female Soldier is a beast, actually...the Juggy, not so good.
Not that rare - I run the HSol's with no adrenaline. CS is just too tasty

The best non-Infiltrator user of the Javelin IMO. He's probably even better than a couple of Infiltrators.

That's your most unusual build? That's not even uncommon.
That is my most unusual build too. Never again.
Well, she's Vanguard class. She's "supposed" to have some sort of Charge. Thing is, since she has a really crap version of it, my build's essentially a Charge-less Vanguard, which makes me feel like a damn hipster.
Luckily, I've already made 200 waves with her for the banner, and don't need to use her ever again.
I actually love this character. I take some token points in PS but could totally do without it. I only use it to teleport across the map to revive friends.
I stack biotic focus for melee and shield regen. I pretty much just use that all the time in between heavy/light melee, and trip around with a Lancer. I should probably use Nightshade blades more because they are awesome but I'm too busy cutting off heads.
This is easily my favourite melee character, the Talon doesn't count because his melee is a really a range armour destroying cheesefest.
I don't think my Cabal Vanguard is an unusual build though.
My most unusual build is probably something with the Krogan Shaman. I was trying to get the Hornet pts and had already done Commando so trying to do two things at once I just made a Barrier/Warp/Hornet Tank. Pretty much never used shockwave, just debuffing with Warp so I could get Hornet points. I mean I know the Turian Sentinel can do excactly this but better but I was using the Shaman okay.
When I ran out of Hornet pts to get changed it up and started exploding my barrier, which was actualy way more fun on her than it is on the Kroguard. Go figure.

Sometimes it seems like builds don't really matter that much after all.

Kishock with the VolMerc is a brave choice- you rock! I'll need to try this sometime. I've pretty much always taken the Arc Pistol on my VolMerc because I've been worried about cool down with him.

Javelin + Typhoon Drell Vanguard sniper.
And I thought you were naughty with just the Javelin.
For me, the melee QFI was pretty unusual but damn I made that thread 10 months ago.
I've enjoyed the occasional game with a no-warp human sentinel. Give him a claymore and he plays like a biotic soldier with Throw instead of ConShot -- or like a weak Fury
Lastly, I played a lot of level ones on Gold on my old PC. They're unusual in the sense that they required me to alter my playstyle quite a bit. Most of them require good aim though and my current ME3 PC is not set up for precision.

*shrug* I never got into the habit of setting up and waiting for the stupid mine to arm. And I run my drells with melee for CQC. Works for me.

I liked the recon mine better for melee builds. Between the slow effect, scan effect and vulnerability it lends itself very well to the drells melee attacks -- which do less than average damage but do it very quickly.
Homing grenades take forever to launch and explode. Not great for melee tactics, vs. arc grenades or even clusters at close range.

Typical 'nade and blades build, but I get strange looks (I can feel them over the interwebs) when I host a Gold/Plat game and I'm toting my sniper rifle.
