Starting at 00:55, ignoring the nutter running around chasing people, does anybody recognise the area? It looks really nice.

The fern looking trees and the overall tropical looking trees in the area and the building styles is something I've never seen before here in the UK. My local town is quite a **** hole.

I presume its in the US, so do all typical American streets look like this with the tropical trees about as well? The place in the video looks well kept and clean.

I could walk out my area and find mushed chips, a dead badger, pile of sick and the odd used condom.

Yeah, I'm bored and I've always wanted to move to America. Just seems alien.

Move deeper into London if you're thinking of moving. Cleaner streets and all that. Or move closer to the countryside for natural cleaness and greenery. Where I live borders on the country and city so I've got the best of both worlds. You speak as though the whole of England is a pig-sty.

I am in the country side (in between Coventry city and Birmingham city) and I am going to London later this year but would like to study abroad in the US if I'm allowed.

I don't know why, but American cul-de-sacs just appeal to me. I like the look of it and the houses look nice and pretty big. I guess I just need a change of scenery.

Looks like something you might see in Florida to me. The US has vastly different looks for it's cities depending on the location. The one thing about that type of climate, you better like hot temps and very high humidity parts of the year.

Really? I thought all countryside places in England looked nice. Maybe there's a few that don't then. I will tell you that further down south-west is BEAUTIFUL. You know near Cornwall and in places like Saint Austell and Newquay. The scenery is beautiful and there are mountains and hills all about. Went there last year for holiday.

Ireland and Scotland seem to have some nice spots too. I must be sure to go to them soon...

After that. Mediterranean.

I've never really fancied a trip to America although Florida does look quite amazing.

I think you're right. The video showed "Miami, FL" at the very beginning.

And I live in the Midwest - no palm trees, and very cold temperatures in the winter. Mostly we have grass, corn fields, some trees, and wind turbine farms. Image IPB

Where I specifically live, is quite nice. I have a multiple fields to trek through with my dog but then I get bombarded with pollen.

My local town is scummy. Pregnant teenagers who are smoking and drinking, chavs hanging around McDonalds etc.

It's not uncommon to get robbed or mugged near me and I have been chased multiple times, ages ranging from 13 to 25 at least and in groups of 4 or more.

It's a **** hole and every night you got to becareful of drunk teenagers. ****** off someone and you can guarantee you will get an entire council estate after you and I really am not kidding.

I've had a mate being robbed by gangs of kids for a crate of beer and myself being punched just for not giving a guy a tenner.

The only "mountain" I know of is a hill literally made out of garbage decomposing over time to become a hill.

Hmm, then I will be looking into possible Florida uni's then. I'm quick to adapt to hot and cold temperatures, living in Thailand has helped.

Christ, that sounds like Hell.

Mind you, I imagine Satan does a better job at house-keeping than these scumbags you're on about.

It isn't as bad as it sounds but what I have said is true. You are guaranteed to get abused for no reason though, that is a fact of life where I live. I've had tween girls throw rocks at me for no reason.

You just really need a thick skin and just watch where you're going depending on the time and day.
