What if we saw another breed of dog, or war dog? We won't be based in Ferelden this time, so there is an opportunity to see what kinds of hounds are in Orlais, or Antiva. If not, I'd rather have the dog as a companion that do that awkward summoning thing Hawke did.

I loved the mabari in the previous games but it wouldn't make much sense for the main character to have one if he is not from Ferelden. So a (Fereldan) companion having one would be perfect.
