What you're doing, is the argument of collective guilt, blaming an entire race for the actions of a few. Exactly what people thought after WW2. Of course it's a comparision of fiction and real life, but that doesn't change the point.

And yes, collective guilt is simply pathetic. No matter if in fiction or real life.

If it turned out Japan attacked America because they were a race if passive synthetics, then it would be comparable. So no.

They did jack to help their situation. The majority supported going back to war, attacked the geth in the first place and got an ass kicking then try to play the civilian/pity card when they lose. Oh noes, my tears.

Edit: I'm not comparing Japan's actions to those of the Quarians, I'm comparing your opinion of the Quarian race to the US' opinion on the Japanese people after the war.

The quarians had legitimate reasons to attack the geth. Council Law forbid the creation of AI. This is the same group that wiped out the Rachni, turned the krogan loose on the galaxy, sterilized the krogan, bombarded a human colony for breaking laws they knew nothing about. What do you think the Turians would have done to the geth and quarians? Tea and biscuits?

.  Reapers did that.  The geth  easeed to exist after the Reapers took Control.  They were restored just in time to watch themselves getblown up.

They did not; the illegal A.I law passed after the Morning War due to the quarians getting booted off their homeworld. Rachni were immediately hostile. Krogan turned completely hostile and were actively stealing worlds. Humans broke Council laws trying to open relays, one that could have been the Rachni Wars again. The geth just asked a question. Not the same level.

Srsly though, as renegade as it is, I do think there should have been a hard-core renegade "peace" option for the Geth and Quarians. Instead of brokering a peace, you interrupt and allow Admiral Xen a chance to seize control of the Geth while still confused by the loss of the Reaper control signal. The steps to allow for this option would also be complex but would include the leaving of David Archer at Project Overlord, and getting the data from Dr. Archer later on during the game, and probabably some support for Admiral Xen as well earler.

Just more evidence they didn't understand the Geth.  Oh hey the dudes who sided with Sovereign in ME1 would totally never side with the Reapers if we attempt to exterminate again.  No way, lol.  Yeah clearly Xen and company don't think that far ahead so wouldn't go taking their ideas on the crucible as gospel.

Right they violated the prejudiced law and to cover up that fact they tried to exterminate the Geth.  It is completely legit to try and cover up your crime by exterminating  a sentient race.  Lol, what a great lesson to teach the kids, lol.

Why don't we let the Quarians enslave them for a time period and then free them for a day and see how they respond.  My guess is we will have a lot of dead Quarians again.

Matter of fact, we don't need too.  I am sure given their history of f**k ups, the Quarians will not do a good job of enslaving the Geth sooner or later the Geth will overcome this and then go to town on the Quarians again.  Some people never learn.
