I know they're fan favorites and a lot of people would hate it if they didn't appear, but personally I can't stand Bodahn and Sandal and it was totally out of character (imo, at least) for angry wardens and Hawkes to just let these two follow them around/live in their state. I'm not asking for them to not appear or anything, but I'd like to be able to say hell no, you two ain't gonna live in my castle.

I agree. Forced stuff is bad in rpgs. Let the player pick his\\her own friends.

Not enchantment?

Personally I'd be fine with them being full time street vendors, but given the precedent from the past games I wouldn't be surprised if they do end up involved in a bigger way than that once more. Either way I don't really mind, though if they do stick with you I'd prefer a better explanation than was given in the past games.

If Sandal plays a major "Prophet" role in DA3 I will cut out my eyes. The top floor of Drakon was funny. The Ogre was funny. But seriously don't give him any more than that, especially with the new Voice Actor.

What, you don't like exploiting a mentally challenged person for free labour?

I can understand this sentiment. Having two strangers standing around in your camp/house was a little weird.

However, a castle is a much, MUCH larger environment (at least, I sure hope it is) which both requires more NPCs (in a manner of speaking) and also allows you to avoid them more easily.

What new voice actor, does Yuri Lowenthal have a clone also named Yuri Lowenthal? So DAI Sandal is going to be voiced by a clone of the clone of Yuri Lowenthal who is named after his clone who is also named Yuri Lowenthal?

Since we're going to have a castle, I'd love for the chance to populate it with different possible merchants, some of which are mutually exclusive.

They'll have their own quarters within the castle.

As long as they make Sandal less creepy looking in DAI I won't mind them hanging about.

I agree let people who don't want them around say no, and then make it so they can't get any enchantments throughout the entire game.

^ I thought you were leaving.

They'll be there and be mandatory cuz we need someone who does enchanting and sells stuff at your house. Like a really, really convenient convenience store. Why waste the resources making someone new to fit the role?

You have a castle. I'm sure you could have a blacksmith and a tranquil for this.

Yeah they could (if there IS a castle). But unless you're okay with cardboard cutouts bringing in Bodahn and Sandal makes more sense. They already have developed characters. It saves resources.
