I played two female mages last time, so I'll be a male rogue this time around.
Will you play as a warrior, rogue or mage on your first playthrough?

I prefer mage, though I don't like to have my "canon" always feature the same character, basically, repeated over and over again -- so I might change it for the sake of that.
Finally, I am no longer alone in the universe.
I named my main warden Rince (who was also a mage) for similar reasons.Huyna wrote...
Mage. As i did in DA:O and DA2.
And, just for sake of tradition, i will name him Rincewind, just like his predecessors.
Finally, I am no longer alone in the universe.

I'm playing a Rogue.
I played a Rogue in my first playthrough in both DA:O and DA2. Stealth and stabbing is always fun

Warrior. I find there is usually a combination of mages/rogues I don't mind, but I usually despise the warriors so I do it myself.
Its also way more best to be in the middle of things instead of running away and hiding far back like a little crybaby mage.

Female Rogue first, then female mage, and female warrior last. Then do the reverse with male characters to see how it all plays out.

I'm always a warrior. I've tried mage.. but too boring for me.

Mage first, rogue second. That's how I rolled in the first two, so I'll probably do the same here.

Female mage. They will make an army of good mages (thought my da:o mage is kinda the good girl and my hawke is sarcastic/more neutral kind )

I played a sword-and-board Warrior in Origins and a fire-and-ice Mage in DA2, so I think I will start with a double-backstab rogue.

Honestly it will depend on if certain backgrounds are for certain classes only

2H warrior all the way!

hmmm, I am thinking a male mage currently but, depending on the main characters plot and story, I may go rogue or warrior.

Warrior then mage, hopefully the sword and shield haven't been nerfed into a defensive class this time.

Played Warrior exclusively in DAO. Played mostly warrior in DA2 and dabbled a bit with archer Rogues because they are awesome in DA2. Will probably be a warrior or rogue in DA3 depending on how awesome archers are.

I played Mage in DAO and Rogue in DA2, guess it will be a Warrior. I hope the melee combat is as satisfying as how it is DA2.

I'll have good intentions of not playing a warrior/arcane warrior first go-through. They will be noble and righteous. Then my first companion will die.
And then I'll go back to being a tank spec for my first round.
It's happened before, in many games. It will happen again.

Rogue, for the lock-picking, dual-wielding, and hopefully, archery (with actual bow strings). I still think any class should be able to pick locks and set traps, but I digress.
