The Mass Relays Are More Than Transportation Devices

Guys, after playing through the Mass Effect trilogy once more, I've recieved a disturbing revelation. The mass relays are not just devices the Reapers designed for civilizations to instantaneously travel throughout the galaxy, they were created to transfer the Crucible's enegry blasts from one relay to the next, and they purposefully explode to disperse the crucible's energy throughut the surrounding systems to either destroy the Reapers, control them, or alter the matrix of all organic life in the Milky Way galaxy so they can share the same DNA.

What's my point? This stunning revelation I realized proves that the Catalyst and Reapers have the war during ME3 completely rigged in more ways than one, they planned this the whole time even though there have been a few minor setbacks (Shepard disabling the mass relay function of the Citadel to delay the Reapers, and the destruction of the Human Reaper)

Back in March 2012, when news of the controversial endings quickly spread like wildfire, BioWare employees were shocked that we believed that the destructtion of the mass relays by the Crucible related to the destruction of the Alpha Relay in ME2's DLC Arrival. I now see why the BioWare employees were confused. In Arrival, the Alpha Relay was destroyed, yes, but not in the same fashion as the rest of the relays by the Crucible's energy. In Arrival, the Alpha Relay was destroyed by a meteor, NOT by the energy of a device coupled with the Citadel. Think about it. There's a very good reason why the explosion of a destroyed relay would resemble a supernova. The Catalyst directed the Reapers to create the Citadel and Mass Relays not just to speed up the technological advancement of civilizations, they created the Citadel to amplify the energy dispersed by the Crucible, and the relays to disperse the enegry from the Crucible throughout the galaxy. And when the relay explodes, the supernova-like blast grows wider and wider, the color of the supernova blast and its effects are following:

(Red) Harmful to the Reapers, including all synthetic life

(Blue) Harmless to all organics and synthetics, only grants Shepard control of all Reaper caught in the blast

(Green) Completely harmless to everyone, only connects all life via a special DNA

Our galaxy is made up of billions of stars, which means there are most likely that many worlds and species out there. If the Catalyst and Reapers expect to preserve all life, or in other words, make all life controllable for the arrogant Leviathans, how are they going to complete their goal if there are that many forms of life? Its easy with the help of the Crucible, Citadel and mass relays. If some gullible organic who doesn't have the guts to make the hard decision of killing the Reapers chooses Synthesis instead, the blast from the Crucible will be sent over to Sol's mass relay, and the relay will send the Crucible's blast to the next relay before exploding, and the same pattern happens to other relays, the harmless explosion from each relay will spread many many lightyears, affecting every organic being, altering their DNA so that they will be linked to other life, even the Leviathans. In this way, the Leviathans will have all life ready to be controlled by their DNA, just like how a real life cuttlefish manipulates its blood cells to make its body flash in different colors, "hypnotizing" its prey.

As long as the Reapers aren't destroyed, they still have a chance of salvaging their "losses" reaching Synthesis, even if you chose to control them, they might break free from Shepard's control, rebuild the relay and resume the harvest so that someone in the next cycle will choose Synthesis. There's no way they'll just betray the request of the Leviathans and allow you the option of making them submit to your will. The Reapers win by taking advantage of our ideal that everyone can be saved in the war, discouraging us into not choosing Destroy with its consequence that the blast of the Crucible won't descriminate Reapers from other synthetics. Control and Synthesis does make our ideal a reality, but that doesn't mean they are the right choices. The Reapers want all life to be preserved. Why? To be enslaved by the Leviathans in the near future, to be used as tools then be disposed like tools, I can't stress that enough. The only way to actually beat the Catalyst and Reapers is to at least temporarily betray their beliefs on the nature of our morals, embracing our inner Renegade for a while (those who are Paragons) and choose to kill the Reapers regardless of the consequence that all synthetic life will die with the Reapers. Dead Reapers are the only way to win.

Doesn't this technically go against the "no spoilers allowed" tag in the forum?

Nothing technical about it.
