Whenever I see a forum get closed, I assume it's only temporary. That's the logical conclusion to make. I was confused and angry when they decided to leave the old Neverwinter Nights forums closed down for good, but now this too? I simply don't believe it. I would like some more info about this.
After the whole ending fiasco and the extended cut, I vowed to make the character & romance boards my permanent home here on the BSN (so that I could talk about Mass Effect without getting into the ending and dealing with pro-enders), but now... well, I'm homeless around here, without a purpose.
When is the Character and Romance Discussion forum reopening?

Join groups dedicated to those topics. The fighting over Miranda thread was uncontrollable, and I think the mods just can't dedicate all their time monitoring the board.

They closed the forum because they got sick of moderating it. It will reopen when the fanbase changes which is to say never.
I also wonder if its closure didn't have something to do with the conduct and material in there being detrimental to Bioware's corporate image.
