Did anyone give into Sebastian's threat?

I really like Sebastian (though I dislike his romance, since F!Hawke goes into promiscuous mode; still "I have to pray now" is hilarious), for multiple reasons, one being his role after Anders makes the Chantry go kablooey.

Before Sebastian, deciding what to do with Anders was a fairly simple matter of "I like Anders", "I hate Anders" or "Yay! Murder knife option!" Sebastian makes it much more difficult. Not only do you risk losing a companion either way, but Sebastian threatens to come back with an army and kick everyone's asses. I agreed with Sebastian and decided to kill Anders with my I'm-an-angry-templar-let's-kill-all-the-mages Hawke, but otherwise have let Anders stay or told him to get out of my sight, accepting his help when he comes back when I'm in the Gallows preparing for the showdown with the templars.

With the Hawke I'm doing now, I'm considering killing Anders, not due to any personal grudge against Anders or my Hawke's opinion of mages, but because of the threat Sebastian makes. I'm wondering, has anyone ever killed Anders for that reason? How serious do you think Sebastian's threat to attack Kirkwall (I think that's what he threatened, at least - it's been a while since I've played this game) is? Something to worry about? Something worth killing Anders for?

That factored into it, but I would say I also thought Anders deserved to die for condemning Kirkwall's Circle to death.

My Mage Hawke told him to run back to Starkhaven and get his army.
When he comes back he'll get his pretty boy ass kicked just like the army of Templars that tried to take down Hawke.
Of course it's probably a completely moot point, with Hawke vanishing and all.

Sebastian actually has an army to use? When did that happen?

I'm not quite sure.

I think he said he would gather one. He is the rightful heir of Starkhaven now, so if it can be rebuilt, its soldiers would be loyal to Sebastian.

He will have to find someone willing to do all the work to build an army because he'll never do it himself. He couldn't even kill Anders himself, but instead he demands that Hawke does it.

I know, I really wish there was an "You want him to die? Kill him, then" option. However, Flora Harimann promises Sebastian that if he ever needs help reclaiming Starkhaven, she will do whatever she can to help him. The Harimann's name may have been smeared, but I presume that they are still wealthy, and could easily lend Sebastian whatever aid he requests.

I didn't kill Anders, and I see no validity to Sebastian's threat. Kirkwall is under templar control; is Sebastian going to attack the center of templar power over eastern Thedas because of his anger over Anders? I think it's more likely he would hire mercenaries to hunt down Anders (like he did to kill the Flint Company for murdering his family). Perhaps this is where the Inquisitor could come into play - help Sebastian, or spare Anders.

Given Anders constant encouragement to become a leader of the mage rebellion (especially his line: "You truly are the leader we have waited centuries for."), I'm not worried for my apostate Hawke or Merrill.

I was all too happy to put down Anders like the rabid dog he was. Sebastian's opinion did not factor in the decision at all. I didn't like Anders in Awakening, and absolutely loathed being stuck with him in DA2.
