It was one of the few features (if not the ONLY one) that DA2 introduced that was actually universally liked, so I would be quite surprised if it didn't make a return.
This. The ability to adjust my character's appearance as the story went on was one of the few aspects of DA2 I really, really enjoyed. Only thing I'd wished for would have been an option to access the editor during the timeskips, so that adjusted Hawke would already be present during the opening of the new act.

Really hope it returns. In addition or the passing of time, I used in some cases when a Mage hawke mastered a school of magic.

I really really hope we get this. The lighting in the character creator was always...misleading.

I loved the whole emporium. I hope we get it again.

I totally support the return of the mirror of transformation and a background color for the CC that isn't pitch black. Trying dark hair colors is always a pain.

Yes. But not as a DLC item, it should be in the default game.

I would love that. More games should allow you to change appearances mid-game.

It was a useful feature.

Yes please! I loved being able to change my Hawke over time or even to tweak the look since the in game look was never exactly the same as the CC look due to lighting or what-have-you.
This is one of the things I liked about Saints Row the Third. I was never happy with my initial character but was able to change it through "plastic surgery". Although I did find the CC in the plastic surgery menu very dark and still didn't provide a clear picture of the character as it would be in game.

I really hope so too! Really a wonderfully simple feature that makes role-playing so much more fun.

I would say so. It's possibly the one thing in DA2 everyone didn't complain about...

Didn't some people complain it was dlc? Or am I misremembering?

There was such a positive response to the Mirror that I would hope that they include it in DAI.
All RPGs could use this feature, honestly. So hard to get the angles right until you see them in motion in cutscenes/conversations!

Hopefully as part of the standard game rather than DLC
