Lately anytime I make a cousland she is blonde since I have changed most of my NPC to light brown or blonde.

Brown, a normal one for human. When I play DAO; classic blonde for the elves (love elves ) and redhead for the dwarves (I hate dwarves D:).

But, when too much replaying the game is makes me boring... Exotic White! xD

Ginger. Cuz it's seems to be a color of the Chantry.

Leliana is a redhead.
Lily is a redhead.
Mother Perpetua is a redhead.
Thrask is a redhead.
A lot of brothers and sisters are redheads. Just come inside the Kirkwall's chantry.
And even DAO-presented Cullen is a redhead.

Gingers do have souls in Thedas. I suppose it's because Maker watches over them.

Not the washed out red you see on most natural genders but the bright bold red you only find in sci fi,  fantasy or from a bottle.

I like my men to have black hair because it's sexy. Occasionally though, I have a male character who is ginger.

My females are usually either ginger or brunette. Though if I want them to be especially "fair", I make them blonde (this is how all of my female elves were, because traditional elves are always very fair).

White hair is like wizard hair! (Also it can be sexy on redguards...)

My main DA:O charactor has white hair, too. I have a weird thing with that lol.

For other playthroughs I usually do black or brown, sometimes I'll do something different but I'm definitely a creature of habit.

But I'm not adverse to trying out different hair colors -- natural or no. Though to be honest, I'm more interested in hair styles then hair color. DA is sorely lacking in hair styles (especially longhair styles for guys that actually look good).

I typically play as one of two of my own characters and roleplay them.
I'm partial to black, darkest red, and darker blonde. Black and darkest red for male, dark blonde for female.

[EDIT] I hope they add more color variations in Inqusition.
