 I'm a sucker for red hair so usually any shade of red to dark red.  My 'canon' Warden and Hawke both have red hair.  I also like black and blonde on both genders.

Do you mean the color of Oghren hair? Or there are mods that add hair colors......

Hm, usually black or a dark brown or dark red and a light dirty white but it depends on the hairtexture. Some styles look better with light colours and so I have now more blonde haired characters.

Blonde, long, and flowing. Shiny enough that the numerous maidens I rescue can do their make-up in it.

The problem there is that blonde eyebrows are almost invisible from any kind of distance, hence my having to settle for a light brown.

Usually I do black hair for my dark skinned character and red (sometimes blonde) for the pale ones. Though in modern games like Mass Effect I sometimes go for the bleach blonde look with dark eyebrows. The Shepard in my avatar is second to darkest (though te lighting doesnt show it well) with black eyebrows and blonde hair.

I am so fcking sick of redhead female protagonists. You can't swing a dead trout around in the videogame/comic book community without slapping at least a dozen gingers, it's ridiculous.
Second to that is the dark-haired, blue-eyed male protagonist.

It was so refreshing when Hawke was black haired with (gasp) brown eyes, but then they had to fck it up by giving LadyHawke blue eyes. Blaaaargh.

I always base the PC to look like me as much as possible-- so black/dark brown. Asian'y type color. For my alts I usually do blonde with tanned skin, or something really ugly for the giggles.

I was ecstatic in DA2 when I learned that they based your family looks off certain sliders you choose. I had the Asian preset and Bethany looked like she could actually be my sister. I thought that was the coolest thing ever.
