I've got one more playthrough I want to complete in DA2, and I'll probably do it sooner rather than later.

We haven't really learnt that much, but I am replaying it. I need to make some nice imports. I'm pretty set with my choices for DA2 (pro-mage, Fenris romance, femHawke), but can't decide which one of my Wardens I want to import to Inquisition.

I didn't use to have a very high opinion of DA2, but now that I'm used to the hordes of enemies dropping from the sky and the reuse of maps, it's shaping up.

Got me to play DA:O again after grabbing a few more mods. Now have elves looking like the DA2 ones. DA2 Flemeth, Isabella, Merrill and Keeper in DA:O Even the Hawke family :)

Actually my Awakening disc was fubar so just grabbed the DA Ultimate Edition which also got me a few DLC I had not bought yet.

To answer the OP's question:

No, I'd rather watch paint dry than play DA 2 again.
Fortunately there's DA:O though, which I will most likely play through a couple more times.

I'll play through DA:O and DA2 again before DA:I comes out. I enjoyed DA2, so playing it again isn't exactly a chore.

No. I'm happy with character save I have now. And I really dislike DA2 gameplay. MMO bosses ugh.
I've re-read Stolen Throne, Calling and Asunder though.

What great news? A trailer which showed almost nothing?

As much as I enjoyed the teaser, we really don't know much more than we did before E3. Perhaps once we get more info I will feel inspired to start a new game.

We know that the graphics and animation is far superior than anything BioWare has done yet.  We also now have a confirmed date even though it's a good ways off.

Finally got my DA2 copy dusted off and managed to redo my canon warrior Hawke and finish the DLC's I bought months ago. LOL. Work sucks.

Plan to get around to doing a Archer Hawke eventually.

I've been tempted to do a Origins and DA2 playthrough since the trailer, but since I doubt they'll directly import saves this time around, I don't know if I want to invest dozens of hours into games I've played a bunch when I have some newer ones to play.

This mindset bothers me.  In 2014 good graphics and animations should be so typical and expected that it's almost mundane.  We've had 7 years of graphics driving the industry and it has suffered terribly for it.  In 2014, the only thing that will impress me is good, tactical gameplay.

I've cleaned my saves from going back to 2009. But I won't be playing the games until a closer date to DAI. Or I might change my mind.

Eh...DA2 has such a crappy/disjointed/watered down plot, the combat is boring and tedious, the maps are small, ugly, and re-used a million times, the companions are good but it's hard to slog through all that other stuff to play it again.

I'm replaying both games. I lost my saves like a million years ago so I decided to replay them in time for DAI's fall 2013 release. Except... now its fall 2014--which I hit my self on the head for being surprised about because it was inevitable.

Replaying DAO however has reminded me just how much I missed this game and how sucky DA2 is in comparison IMO. :)

I did replay DA2 recently (finished today).  I wanted a "complete" save game file (despite the uncertainty about imports), so I did a complete DAO - DAO:A - DA2 playthrough.  I'm not too happy with my DA2 choices (I sided with mages exclusively before, and the templars this time for completion; however, my "true" choices are a mix of both), but I don't know how much time will have to pass before replaying DA2 again will sound good. This was my third playthrough, btw.

Every time I play, though, I like the game a little more.  For example, snarky Jo Wyatt is quite fun.  Maybe knowing the game's shortcomings helps me overlook them in favor of the better aspects.

Damned DA2 combat. Isn't there a "reduce all combat encounters to one wave at no cost to XP" mod?

I agree. The wave combat was so annoying (played on Hard).  I wish the enemies were more complex, tactical, had higher HP bars, whatever - just no enemies falling out of the sky!  It's not that it was too easy - I could have turned it up to Nightmare; rather, it was too boring.  For all the fast pacing, flashy skills, etc., the wave combat makes for very dull battles.

I know Corypheus was a DLC "Big Bad," but more battles with that kind of ingenuity would have made for a more exciting gaming experience.

I finished my last playthrough of DA2 earlier this evening. Probably done for a while, but I might play again in the future to try and get through the game as a female Hawke.

I've just put my hand on DA:O ultimate edition for pc. I'm learning to modding it, so I can create a more DA2 style Elf Warden, and make see to bioware that even less human like Elf can be good looking, since in DA2 a part from Merrill and Fenris, all the others where quite horrid.

I have one save of DA2 with the importing of my main Warden, the female City Elf. not plotting on making another. even if I'd like to have a save with the import of my secondary warden, a castless dwarf with the Morrigan romance. but playng again DA2 is too much suffering.

so I guess I'd just play DA:O with the mods, and maybe I'll finish a save I had on the PS3 with a psicopath Warden Elf Blood mage. just to have a "bad guy" save.

but I'm not making a great deal about the import, since I still don't think I will buy DAI. for now I still have to see a feature that will make me forgive the game about the lack of playable races.
