I had finished all my playthroughs that I wanted, but since my apt. was broken into and all my stuff stolen I now need to replay both games since I have replaced everything.

I really want to play Dark Arisen, plus I have that psp Kingdom Hearts I'd like to beat, and I've yet to finish Persona 3 (portable). Also Skyward Sword has not yet been attempted. Dragon Age will just have to wait!

Unsure. I have too many other games I want to play. I've played DAO and DA2 enough times I kind of want to puke. I also deleted some of my old wardens because I was running out of space to make new ones. So I will have to play those through in order to create import saves. Thing is - I don't even know if DAI is going to import our saves. Part of me doesn't want to waste the time until I know. I've played DAO and DA2 and beaten them already. If my saves don't import, then there's no reason to replay.

I deleted all my saves for Origns and Dragon Age II, and I will now do six playthroughs of the two games to create six fresh storylines to follow.
I mapped it out too, will do one of each origin of course, and one Hawke in each gender/role, with varying choices as we go for the RP aspect.
should be fun.

I kind of did the same thing when it comes to deleting my saves but it was due to a comp crash... funny how things end up. Lesson learned is to backup my files.

Gotta wrap up my run with my rogue female noble on Origins as well but I might do that later. I tend to be a completionist with games (even when I try to fight the urge >.>), but after spending so much time already with my mage run, gonna step away from DA for a bit before I wrap up a second.

That does suck that that happened.
That said, that was not by choice. This makes me insane in some respects.
Good thing we have plenty of time before the game comes out.
Heck, I might just do a recap log on the playthroughs as we go. The first one was City Elf Rogue and its almost finished...I donno well see if I have to do write ups for all 12 stories.

I did that with ME1 and ME2 a month before ME3 came out, I had an army of Shepards, each one very different to see how different things would be in ME3...the joke was on me.
I think we won't even be able to import our games since it will probably be next gen.

Even farming at level 200 in Dragons Dogma is more fun and when I'm going to reach it, GTA V will be on the way. That should entertain me til Dark Souls 2 ships and maybe then close before DA:I launches I can convince myself to finish that playthrough.

No, I am not replaying DA2 but I am replaying DAO!Are you replaying DA:2 after all this great news about DA:I?
I am not replaying for having an import; I don’t like metagaming and my cannon playground is my first playground (where I made all my choices blindly).
As I have already finished DAO 5 times I don’t think that I need any additional save to import into DAI (it would be a chore for me to finish DA2 more than twice, actually I stopped playing it half the way through my second playground as I found it boring).
However, I will probably finish my second playground of DA2 closer to the release of DAI so I will have, at least, one game as male Hawke and one as Female Hawke. If DAI is better than DA2 and I want to replay it more than twice I would probably find a way to import directly from DAO (we don’t know yet how the import system will work but with a system similar to the one of DA2 it would be easy).

[edit]
I'll add that I've started many more DAO plays than I have finished. If I don't finish a play (if I take several weeks off to play something else, for instance) I find that I've lost any feeling for it and have to start over.
Wow... I wouldn't do this, but it does bring more attention to some of the limitations of DA2 in that regard.Maclimes wrote...
If anyone is curious on how to get a Companion-Free ending:
Dog - Don't be Human Noble. Kill Dog at Ostagar (or just leave it to die).
Leliana - Leave her in Lothering, or kill her by defiling Urn of Sacred Ashes.
Sten - Leave him in Lothering.
Morrigan - Run her off, and do not do Dark Ritual. For bonus points, do Witch Hunt and stab her.
Zevran - Kill him before he wakes up when you first meet him.
Wynne - Kill her when you first meet her, or kill her by defiling Urn.
Shale - Leave in Honleath, or bring with you to Anvil of Void and attack Caridan.
Oghren - Get Approval low enough, and he'll leave you (Use Feastday Pranks to simplify this). If the correct dialogue is chosen, you can kill him. (But he still shows up in Awakening).
Alistair/Loghain: Kill one at the Landsmeet, let the other sacrifice self to the Archdemon.
I haven't done Awakenings yet, so I don't know for sure. But I can guess:
Nathaniel - Have him executed immediately.
Anders - Turn over to Templar.
Sigrun - Encourage her to return to the Deep Roads after killing Broodmothers.
Velana - Not sure. Probably have the option to not recruit her, or send her away after Silverite Mines.
Justice - Not sure. Probably have option to request he go away.
Oghren - No idea at all. That drunkard is hard to get rid of.
With Fenris, Isabela, and Sebastian you can just never recruit them in the first place. Alternatively, with Fenris, Isabela, and Anders you can work it so you either ****** them off enough to leave, or just tell them to once asked (Anders). Sibling can be killed in the Deep Roads. At the very end, you'll probably end up with either Varric and Aveline, or Varric and Merrill. Aveline only works if you are really meticulous about rivaling her throughout the whole game and pick the mage side, but then you will still be left with Merrill. I highly doubt there is any way Varric will leave you.

Considering its coming out on the Xbox 360, i'm all set. No need to be cynical either.
As an update, I finished my City Elf playthrough, now were on Dwarf Noble. So far so good.
