put it to casual if you are having a hard time also you want at least one warrior and either a rouge or another warrior so you have two close range people. but turn it to casual and you should be able to smoke that thingNeoleviathan wrote...
I'd been thinking about it. But I never could get past that boss in the Deep Roads. Did every mission and got prepared before hand, didn't matter it destroyed me.
What would be the best set up to go through another playthrough, especially if I wanted to get past that thing? I'd hate to let one single boss fight continue to prevent me from finishing off Hawke's story if I tried again, and prevent me from getting a good start to Inquisition.
Are you replaying DA:2 after all this great news about DA:I?

I am doing something insane.
I deleted all my saves for Origns and Dragon Age II, and I will now do six playthroughs of the two games to create six fresh storylines to follow.
I mapped it out too, will do one of each origin of course, and one Hawke in each gender/role, with varying choices as we go for the RP aspect.
should be fun.
I did that with ME1 and ME2 a month before ME3 came out, I had an army of Shepards, each one very different to see how different things would be in ME3...the joke was on me.
I think we won't even be able to import our games since it will probably be next gen.

I might do, after DA:I was released, in case I get DA:I. I've done something similar with ME, were I replayed from the very beginning to have a nicely long gaming experience. Also might do to explore some variations in decisions.
However not sure, as I never imported my DA:O games into DA2 I'm not sure it would make sense. However I don't think I'll replay DA2 in preparation of DAI ...
