The Question: Would you like to see crossover easter eggs or cross-promotional material in Dragon Age Inquisition?
If you are a Loyal Bioware Fan you may be able to start off the game with some neat stuff.
If you are a Dragon Age purist you may not like to see other IP's invading your game.
If you are a Game Purist that neat stuff may compromise the challenge.
If you are none of these, you may get some neat stuff or funnies.
Which is the best? Why?
P.S. As an example, this avatar I am currently using (in case you haven't noticed) is a Volus Templar made in my exceptionally poor art style. Mainly because I thought a Volus Templar would be funny. IP crossovers do not have to be anything huge or magnificent. They could just be Easter Eggs, for instance.

Generally I'm not too keen on crossovers because they tend to be out of place. If they could make one that actually fits the world it's inserted into it would be fine. But armor with a bunch of spikes on it was just stupid in ME, and Ser Isaac's armor looked silly as well (what little I saw of it).

Whatever EA is plugging at the time I guess, maybe some Mirror's Edge 2 stuff? Or Star Wars Items?

I wouldn't mind if it is light, fun, and appropriate. For example, say we see a commander Sheppard reference later in the game with a group of soldiers or something. That would be fine with me at a point of downtime or a build up period for the inquisitor base (assuming there is a time for build up). But it wouldn't be something that I could really enjoy, and may even detract from some people's enjoyment, if it was done say during an important siege of the castle.

Short bits of dialogue like Oghren's "no dwarf tossing" or Sten's "the cake is a lie" are ok, pretty harmless and made me chuckle. They also happened once, in moments of zero tension, so they didn't ruin my immersion. Isabela's "I like big boats, I cannot lie", though, was cringe-worthy and incredibly out of place. There was also a codex entry from Bownammar mentioning Shepard that I thought was funny, mainly because you don't have to read every codex entry right when you find it and it appeared in a moment of exploration, zero tension, no battles.
I don't really like armors or weapons that reference armors and weapons from other games as I think they're just so out of place they ruin immerion into that universe. I never wear/use them, anyway.

Let's not forget the cross-promotional tie-ins in the previous two games:
People who had both ME2 and DA:O would get the Blood Dragon armor in both games.
People who had both Dead Space 2 and DA2 would get Ser Isaac's armor in DA2 (no clue if they got anything in DS2).
Worth noting: Blood Dragon is for warriors, Ser Isaac's is for rogues. Mayhap we will see some cross-promotional armor for mages? Considering the recent acquisition of the Star Wars licenses, perhaps some "Jedi like" robes?
