Do you think there should be a transgendered character in DA3?
LGBT = Lesbian, Gay, Bi and Transexual. Why not include transgendered characters too?
Remaking this thread since mods locked down my other thread because I had somehting in it about incest along with the transgendered discussion.
What about Transgendered Characters?

I agree with you. We've come far, but there's still some lines people can't seem to cross.
But I think this is even more reason to push those boundaries. You can't reach a goal if no one is willing to take the first step.
So yeah, I'd like a transgendered character in Dragon Age. We have Serendipity, but so far she's been treated more like comedic relief than anything else. It'd be nice if they gave her a deeper background and some story.

This is a comment that always boggles me, because it has no basis in reality--or is there more Serendipity content than simply it lounging on the bar? If that's all there is, that isn't "comedic" at all.

That's extremely sad to read. Transgender people do not have the choice of their condition. They are born the wrong sex and live a very difficult life as a result, and are treated with scorn by people like you.
Imagine, as hard as it might be, that you were born male without a penis, or female without a vagina. Are you any less of a man/woman because of it?
Anyway, they should be treated with equality. They are people. Imagine how much hate you would receive if you said 'I wouldn't buy the game if black people were in it. They creep me out'. This situation really isn't ANY different.
