Assuming (based on this) that your PC will have the power to either save the world, or destroy it in hopes of a new begining of some sort, which one of these endings will you fight for in your main playthrough?

well 1st i would chose to save the world and see where that leads and after that i will choose the other option but it all depends on what the story is and what other choices there are

I actually hope that's not meant to be literal. I do not wish to believe that this title's major choice is between rescuing babies from a fire or pouring on gasoline.

It will be interesting to see how they handle this "world-changing" choice in future games

I will save it. Hopefully, it will be more grey than this though.

I'll stand against it, I guess. At least in my first playthrough. I always end up playing the good guy.

Presumably it doesn't mean "destroy" or "lead/leave it to its bitter end" in the traditional sense since they're already working on ideas and stuff for the next DA game.

My first playthrough is usually as the good guy, so definitely stand against it.
But it's hard to say what future playthroughs will bring, if it's bringing about the apocalypse then even my more villainous characters would stand against it.
It's all about motivations. =P

It's "leave", not "lead".

As in, "Will you play the game or not?"

I'll go with whichever option Morrigan opposes.

So probably save the world.

They could have a non-canon ending, like an ME2 suicide mission fail. Or some of the HotU evil endings, which aren't compatible with subsequent FR canon or NWN2.

If it's good enough, yes. I will do both of those things.

Dang it that means I actually have to work for the bad ending again? (Funny how most games give equal balance to good and bad endings or they purposely try to lead you to a bad ending however, rarely have I ever played a game where you actually have to work for the bad ending)

Agree if it is that straightforward no doubt i'll work to save it. However i hope it is a much greyer, much more complex and fluid endings dependent on all choices rather than a simple black and white singular one.

If stading against it means saving Chantry and Templars then it is darkness for everyone!!

"Or lead this world to its bitter end?"

If this translates into a classic 'dark-side' plot culmination...most definitely that.
