Probably not. Half our animals are trying to kill us in the best of times.

Then when you add:

I am totally boned.

Are you kidding? Why would you be concerned about zombies? You see here, the universe itself is constantly expanding. Thus galaxies are always moving. Soon... galaxies will collide and inevitably destroy each other. This term is called galactic cannibalism. The Sol system resides on the outskirts of the Milky Way galaxy, thus we essentially have front row seats to the end of our nebula and anything we've ever known.

So sure, go head, worry about zombies. But I'm telling you right here and right now, don't come crawling to me when you want to share my seats!

To be fair, I think you can learn a few things from zombie movies, shows, and/or books. Morgan might have been completely nuts when we last saw him in the episode Clear, but he did stockpile a crapload of weapons and ammo, along with booby-trapping his hideout and the surrounding area. That seems pretty reasonable to me.

But I live in the middle of the Pacific, so maybe we won't even get infected here if the disease only spreads through bites. If it's airborne, well, I guess everyone is in trouble.

There's a reason why zombie fiction almost never exists within zombie fiction. Otherwise, everyone would have some idea of what to do.

Anyway, in order to survive any apocalypse, I'd have to hoarde medical supplies. At any given time, I have enough for about three months. But even if I managed to stockpile supplies, I'd be a liability. I've never shot a gun, nor am I physically able. So, the chances of me surviving are slim.

Depends on the speed of the zombies. If they'd be fast then I probably wouldn't last for long. Then again, I could also get shot by other survivors who became looters. I think I'd just gather as many useful supplies, pack them in a luggage case and move away from the city. See, if a apocalypse happens you don't want to be the guy in the block who has a lot of useful supplies since that's just the invitation to get robbed.

If I survived the initial outbreak, then yes. Our society is a great deal more resilient than most people realize. Our greatest ability is our ability to communicate with each other. Once we know how the creatures spawn and what their capabilities are, then we would share that amongst ourselves and organize ourselves to deal with it.

^ And you assume they would just share that information freely? Ha if some groups learned it first or some nations they would purposely keep it back to allow for the destruction of its enemies or to use such creatures in a military capacity. Life is ****, then you die.

i think yes. I faced many situation in my life that have build my resilience and survivor instinct. People who panic easily and mostly lived the comfy life during most of their life would be the first to die. Plus I am fiercely independant and solitaire. Which are all good trait for surviving the apocalyse.

While slow-moving, flesh-eating dead folks would concern me in this scenario, I think my bigger concern would be other people and their desire to survive. After seeing some of those the comments in this thread, I'm wondering about some of you if we met during the zombie apocalypse. Maybe, I'll tattoo "N7" on my forehead so you'll know I'm a friend! We'll add a gorgeous lady who's good with a gun and has a killer rump and we'll storm the streets bada**-style...

and

Nice!

I prefer more ( a LOT more) distance between me and the uneasy dead though.  :wizard:
