I'm not just talking about a straight up damage buff or a durability buff. I'm saying the Geth should have been buffed by making them different and unique. Varity is the lifeblood of this game and such a thing should have been extended to the enemy factions.
For example:
Geth Trooper: Will still rush to stomp you, no matter the cost! (no syncs, but gains a 30% movement speed bonus for successfully downing a player)
Geth Rocket Trooper: Can stomp players while firing at targets. ( still no sync-kills)
Geth Hunter: Can stomp players too for stealthy executions!
Geth Pyro: No change, but gains a 100% damage bonus after stomping a player for 60 seconds
Geth Bomber: Tazes bodies when there is no additional targets shaving off 1 additional second on the bleedout timer. Gains 50% movement speed bonus for 3 seconds if it kills a downed player with its tazer.
Geth Prime: Can now sync kill, but only on wave 3 using the Juggernaut's heavy melee (cannot regen shields with this melee)
I feel as though the Geth will feel more fun and more unique with this change. This way they will have differences compared to other factions. It may be too late to implement them now, but it would be awesome if this could be integrated in the next Mass Effect.
Any thoughts, questions, or concerns?
The idea is to capitalize on the Geth's platforming in lore so they gain bonuses across all units of the same type when certain things happen.
