the real question is will it be better than dragon age 2? I hope so, because I had to turn off DA2 after 7 hours. Though im still playing origins.. Maybe one day i will gather my strength to finish that abomination
What if Dragon Age Inquisition is better then Dragon Age Origins?

Then people on BSN will still pretend it's otherwise.
So it doesn't matter, in that sense at least.

Than the BW team did what they were supposed to do, what's the question about that?

I'd gladly welcome such a game, of course.

well...make it worse than DA2 is a hard task...I hope:?
My convinction is: DAI will be better than DA2, but not even near as good and as roleplayng as DAO.

Chances are it'll be better than DA2(we can only hope, sheesh) but fall short of DAO.
Which is...a start, I guess.

It has Morrigan in it so it's already ahead of DA2 in my book. If it tops DAO, Bioware takes back the undisputed crown as best RPG maker in the world.

chances are everyone will still say DAO is supreme even if DA:I is the best game ever, simply for nostalgia's sake. That's the reason why most original games are "better" than their more advanced counterparts, because the older games have a nostalgic effect.

Then this would be the final proof that I've been in a coma for years and everything here is a product of my imagination.
I mean, Bioware getting back on track and delivering a good RPG thats better than DAO after all those years of continuously going downhill? Only in my dreams.

If it is better than origins it will be nitpicked to hell by everyone, there will still be that person that will hate it because it doesn't let you play as different races and it will be compared to Dark Souls 2, Witcher 3 & every other rpg in 2014.

I will consider it Bioware's redemption for DA:O Awakenings, DA2 and ME3.

I suspect that it will be. Dragon Age 2 definitely had its issues that gave the fans some concerns, concerns that the ME3 ending did not allay. I also heard gripings about the KOTOR MMORPG.
Bioware is definitely a company that exists due to customer loyalty. We will preorder on day 1 and consumer DLC like a nest of starving termites let loose in a lumber yard. They know that they need to know DA:I out of the park.
Look at how they are developing DA:I by addressing the issues with DA2 (BTW, I applaud Bioware for taking chances with formula and putting in positive chances like faster combat, a voiced protagonist, breaking the typical Bioware story formula... heck they even let you toggle off the helmets off!) like:
1. small areas
2. repeated areas
3. short development time
They are putting lots of efforts in and I believe they will pay off big time.

Yeah, that isn't some far fetched scenario, that is my expectation. I expect all Bioware games to be excellent and to improve with each iteration.

Then I can spend another six years hearing about how DA:I is the best and how BioWare has lost its way since it made DA:I.What if Dragon Age Inquisition is better then Dragon Age Origins?

Then I will sh*t myself, drop to my knees, and begin worshiping the Dev team of Inquisition. For now, I pretty much have good faith that they are heading in the right direction.
