i've seen people talking wonders about lot of overhyped weapons like Lancer, but whatever, what weapon do you think is the most overrated here?

The Acolyte/CSMG, I can do much better with other guns.

Lancer is not overrated, it is literally the only gun you need. Its damage may not be the best but its uses are limitless.

Harrier and claymore.

There options better than the harrier that are lighter and more accurate without all the ammo box whoring.

I've definitely not been impressed by the claymore on platinum, and its range is significantly lower without an infiltrator... Mainly the GI.

And the lolcolyte. There is nothing lol about it. The only thing good is that it shreds phantoms ON HOST. It's not needed at all for most players. It has great synergy with certain powers and melees, but it's just not that impressive.

lancer - alright damage

reegar - I never saw pugs use this weapon until recently and it's always on an AIU or TGI. Which means most people cannot get in the reegar's range without lol stimpacks/RM

Does the Cobra count? Most of my missiles disappear on me when I fire 

On a more serious note; I'd have to say the Javelin (maybe because I'm awful with that too )

Claymore. Don't get me wrong, it's a great gun, but a lot of people seem to act like it has zero flaws and is better than every other gun in the game. Personally, I don't even think it's the best shotgun. I prefer the Wraith.

It really does the job for most everything.
