Harrier, not because it doesn't hit hard, but I simply don't enjoy doing ammo box runs.
Wraith, horrible RoF.
Acolyte, I mean it's really good, but I dislike people thinking it's required for some classes.
Dunno why people say reegar, that thing is the best at what it does, and what it does isn't very nice; people that suck with it isn't because it's a bad weapon.
Or maybe people just dislike it because of it's damage output, but that doesn't really overrate it now does it=]

Claymore and Javelin. Great guns, too much fanfare. Acolyte as well.

Harrier, I prefer not to camp the ammo boxes.

Reeger, Harrier & Clay-Moar.

All great, but none of them game changing.

Oh deerber....im sorry i should have been clear, i was refering to Tsol as THE marksman......my bad..

I typically stick to a 1 weapon loadout unless i use an acolyte primary build....so thats there

Also i rarely attack spawns with a weapon primary build unless i have nades or the like, like you suggest and i usually just choose targets, finish them and move on....anyways thanks for your suggestions, il make sure to try out next time......but as of now...my playstyle works better with the paladin so i find it superior along with the earlier stated reasons.Awsome vids by the way.

Thanks :)

And sure, everyone should play like he feels. So long as you have fun, everything's good ;)

Oh and on the marksman you'd better put a stabilization module, yeah... Otherwise you're gonna aim for the moon with the 14th shot :D

I have to say acolyte. It's not always the best choice. It's overused.

EVERYTHING. But seriously.

I'd have to say the Claymore and probably the Harrier ever since the Lancer arrived.

To be fair, claymoar is just overrated/overworshipped (fine line there) on BSN, you don't really see it in that many pugs.  For most pugs, it's definitely under-used/under-rated, it is after all a great, powerful, and versatile gun.
Too bad for it that it had to exist in the same world as the Raider...

I also agree with those that say it's hard for the Harrier to be overrated, considering how actually effective it is.  You can argue that you don't like the gun or don't like the playstyle it forces you into, but it's pretty hard to argue that it lives up to its reputation damage-potential wise.

Acolyte with charge mechanic.

You know.  Because I'm a scrub for not enjoying having to hold mouse 1 for the entire match.

Harrier (literally nothing more than a full auto, easy to use, mattock)
Lancer (well balanced but underwhelming at lower levels)

Every thing else is either underrated, or is as good/bad as people make it out to be.

To be honest, I've always wondered about this (and I bet it's already been answered somewhere before) - is a Mattock set up with an auto-fire macro or some such actually as damaging as a Harrier?  If so, then Mattock for PC players who can do this would be the ultimate under-rated weapon, get a Mattock X easily as an uncommon and enjoy Harrier levels of performance with a larger ammo clip.

I have a turbo controller and cannot fire as fast as the Harrier and worse stability

The damage per shot is identical at level X, and the ammo capacity is not much different. Harrier is really good, dont get me wrong on that, but whenever I use it (and I dont use it much any more) it is just like an ammo-guzzling mattock with the inconvenience of taptaptaptaptap. In other words, trade one disadvangtage for another.
