tried that, instant crash when i loaded (loaded a mage that is still at the circle)



i dunno, maybe nothing has helped at all and i was just 'lucky' for that 1-1.5 hours i got of solid gameplay

has bioware come up for a fix for the black screen problem, I've tried every suggestion in the forums
and the game still crashes after exiting the loader.   running win 7/64  8 gig of ram, nvidia geforce gtx275 ftw edition. and lots of hard drive space.  I've cleaned out the temp files, reset my video driver card settings everything.  willing to give it another day of fiddling, or back to futureshop this dog is going to go.


any help appreciated. cheers

This may be a really stupid question, but it MIGHT be a loading screen, since some loading screens are just black and stay black for a while then suddenly in bottom right corner it says loading. It does not use the arty loading screen all the time. But if not, good luck to a fix for the problem.

I ran the game smoothly with no problems. Upgraded my computer and reinstalled the entire thing, including the game, this time around with the DLC aswell. Now im getting the same problem as many others in this thread, which is black screen but audio continues (without looping) and im forced to do a hard restart of the computer. The funky thing is that my GFX card is the same, i only changed the motherboard, CPU and memory.

Old specc (the one that worked just fine):
Intel C2 Q9550
8GB Kingston DDR3 1800MHz
Asus P5EQ Premium motherboard
rest of the specc same as the new one.

New setup (the one that fails:
Intel Core i7 975
Corsair Dominator-GT 6GB
Asus P6T7 WS SuperComputer
Gainward ATI Radeon 4870 X2 2GB
Crucial 128GB M255 SSD x2 in Raid-0
Windows 7 Ultimate x64

Look i want to play a GAME....... not learn programming

if i have to do their fraking job i expect to get paid for it.

a BIG no on any bioware crap from now on, from me.

Still happening. i have a 3800 series. Underclocking does not work.
