Thanks for all the advice guys I'm gonna try TGI with harrier tomorrow on giant coz I'm kinda bored of the kroguard. Anyway what do you think of the puggernaut for soloing for its my go to platinum kit?
I can't seem to solo gold help needed.

Don't rush it. It'll happen when it happens. Rushing it will only make stop playing ME3mp sooner. You don't want that, do you? Meanwhile, while you're still learning + plenty to learn = still lots of fun times ahead. (I know it's one of the main reason I'm avoiding soloing still).

If you wanna do a reegar vanguard you should consider the batarian instead. He has a much faster charge cooldown, can walk faster while hipfiring the reegar and has almost as much shields. But yeah TGI would probably be the easiest kit to do it with, especially on a grenade rich map.
