I love it on the Geth trooper, and I do see it semi-regularly on Gold. Don't play platinum frequently enough to really notice any pattern there.

I think the main problem is there's so much competition from other shotguns, as there's so many good ones to choose from.

That and off host issues. I find the fire delay much more noticeable off host. That and the homing effect it has is really sketchy, and that's without any noticeable lag. Use it on an Australian host (or whatever equivalent for your part of the world) and you might as well just write an angry letter and throw it at that nemesis, because you aren't going to hit her otherwise.

Often shoots blanks when I use it off-host and it can't score headshots which is a pain. Also, using the GPS against an Atlas really brings home how much the double and triple hit bugs help with other guns.

Exactly. It's the same with banshees, scions, and every other boss that gets double hits. For similar reasons I don't use the Graal too much, but at least that one can get headshots.

I think I was a little bit more than 100k behind most of the time, but I did join you and Dax for a few games in the early hours of this morning. I was using a Ghost, TSent and Saboteur if I'm who you're thinking of. I'll be on soon so I'll send a FR if you like.

I really believe that is a more apparent issue on PC because I don't notice it that much on console. Even when I have a laggy game I still can use that weapon on Xbox, so I truly believe that a laggy host on PC is a lot worse.

I can't speak for Plat as I stick to Gold. It does seem to me that people tend to stick to weapons that have 2 challenges to complete (eg. Piranha) as the challenge points obsession continues. GPS, unfortunately, has only 1 challenge.

As it goes, I like using it on my Geth characters due to additional Geth weapon damage.

I used it for the challenges recently, having almost never touched it before. Running around with the weapon charged brought me sweet memories of Mass Effect 2, where it was a beast of a gun and I loved it.
In ME3MP its lackluster and feels bugged off host. I will probably put on my GI again oe day, but not for practical purposes.

I think it's a lawnmover, even though I only have it at lvl 6. I find it precise, hard hitting, good at both short & long range and good off host too. Was Dumdum2 that showed me the way with this shotgun. Can hold my own on platinum with it with the GI.

That is correct buddy! But I only introduced you to the weapon basically, if you have some time this week I can also show you how to get the most out of using it. You've seen the scores when we play on Platinum with a full team, so you know how effective it can be when used to its full potential.

The off host issue is bascially just a problem when you have some really really bad lag, and that is more likely to be on PC than on Xbox unless you are living in Europe and have an Australian as a host.
