How does it? Space magic somehow combining organic life with synthetic... stuff. That's what husks are. Take one organic, impale it, then with the body's reaction to such traumtic shock, nanites can on a very basic level infuse the body with tech.

Why is Reapers being around bad? Have you not paid attention to any part of the games, especially the third? They kill organics. They kill synthetics. By merely being they subvert and warp minds. Saren, the Collector Base, the Collectors, the entire Reaper war! All show that Reapers are bad to just leave hanging around.

Forced, as in one minute your human, next you're a cyborg. Forced.

Evolution does not happen in 5 minutes. This is genetic engineering to a "problem" that isn't proven to exist.

I'd normally explain why I hate synthesis.

Well put it this way... I don't like the idea that the only way to get two groups of folks to get along is to fundamentally alter one or both. Especially if they are already capable of coexisting...

"But synthesis doesn't fundamentally change anyone" you may say..

Well... What does synthesis actually do? It is supposed to enable synthetics and organics to better understand each other in order to avoid conflict. The only problem is that organics are capable of understanding other organics just fine and conflict is still rife...

So... what does synthesis do? What happened to Reave? What the hell is a new DNA?

I don't understand synthesis.
