I did my Mass Effect playthroughs on an MU.
Do i just transfer them to my HDD from my MU and do the final battle again?

Another question.
What about the profiles I used to create my playthroughs. Would it have to be transferred to my HDD too?

We've been asking this question, as well as a question about people who upgraded their HDDs for three weeks on the old forums- don't hold your breath for an official reply.
We'll all find out the answer on the 26th.

Oh, right, a 360 term.
I don't have a 360, so that's why I didn't recognize it.

Yes. You need to have the career, the saves, and the gamer profile all on the HDD. And even then, it might not work. Were all those things created on the HDD, or on the MU?

i think all that matters is that the new game+ save was created on the HDD

You probably could transfer the saves from the memory card to the hard drive. The saves are tied to the original device that your Xbox profile is on. If your profile is on the HDD and your saves on the card, transferring them to the drive will work.

Quite simple, if you can get it so your game shows up in 'Select Existing ID' when creating a new game in ME1 you'll be able to import into ME2.
At least I hope so, I transferred my save to a new Xbox and redid the Saren battle, so it damn well better work.

I thought this too, but supposedly if its on MU it won't transfer... I think.
Its confusing, I might just make a new playthrough.
