I enjoy the character but tend to not play it due to the negative viewpoint about its cheesiness. After getting my BotB title I went and did some matches with the harrier for the first time for maximum cheese. I still prefer the lancer on it or striker for the lawls.

I actually used the TGI for the first time since before the last DLC today. I can't say I'm a huge fan; definitely not a bad class but it is kind of boring.

 Harrier was one of the first URs I unlocked and I heard TGI is pretty broken. It's my go-to carry kit now, also the only one I've ever tried to solo gold with (extracted too). Upgrading my manifest - TGI is the best way for me to secure the extraction.

To be fair I've barely touched him now that I'm going through challenges.

Because it's the only infiltrator besides the AIU I can stand. Sniper damage bonus? No thanks. Assault rifle damage bonus? Hellz yeah!

I just got the TGI last night and I've been trolling gold and platinum with him while rocking the Harrier. Awesomeness.

Pretty much. Hands down one of the most survivable kits in the game. I think that's what makes playing him boring sometimes, y'know? No danger of dying, really, like he's too good. Just like the Juggernaut and the Battlemaster.

So, I switch it up sometimes. I don't think I've run powerful ARs on the guy in a long time. I'll bring the Mattock, Argus, or Vindicator and spec him for duration cloak or single-target overload, just to handicap myself and for the lulz.

When I need to level up my infiltrator class, I go looking for platinum pugs. I always end up in noob lobbies. I have no choice but to use the most powerful character in the game, since no one else is using any equipment. It's very rare to find people using mods on their weapons in platinum pugs. Hardly anyone uses a gear bonus. So I have no choice really. I lead a pug life.

What is wrong with playing the TGI? All kits are useful, all kits can be fun, all kits have value. There is no reason why people shouldn't use the TGI. As long as you maintain a healthy rotation of kits, theres nothing wrong with putting the TGI in there. Anyone that refuses to use a kit because it's a "crutch" is trying to prove something.

This. Also, I love turians and when I am out of cyclonics he is one of my default kits (on gold).

I don't. I've realised that I don't play a lot of kits people consider OP. I guess I find most of them boring with the exception of the Drell adept, and maybe the GI (Talon only).

He's so incredibly boring to play. I used the ghost to figure out gold and then never really bothered again.

I don't. I know he is crutch, but somehow I do way better with my HSol with a Falcon and Cryo Ammo than I ever could with a TGI + Harrier.I know others make it work, but I can't.
