I think the game is pretty fair in it's options either way. I know some of the Devs see their own version of Shep as more on the Renegade side, so they're not all paragon biased either. Hell, default Shep gets bonuses to Renegade (via Earthborn).

Jacob's father is a no brainer. Especially with his victims standing right there. Aresh is the most difficult of the bunch.
