pretty please bioware ;-/ i just hate those self-righteous -
elves lost war 4 or 5 ages ago. And they cant just quit whining and crying about it. everytime they meet human they blame him for winning war, that elves provoked. Sometimes they even kill him for it as was shown in elven origin.
Mages are even worse.. i wont point out that they cant be free because they are dangeours as -
but they live in luxury that 95% ppl of thedas doesnt have and they still keep crying about it.

oh man these 2 factions are so ANNOYING.

DA:I is not going ot be (well, i hope)  final installment in the series, and i doubt that future games will be willing to remove elves or mages from the setting.

nah... i didnt mean completely.. my english is not exactly perfect as you could have noticed. just clan and circle.. lets stick to traditions. by circle i mean just like.. 50 mages out of their armies or something, not all of them.

Well, in that case, i guess there is a possibility that we will have a situation somewhat similiar to Geth-Quarians resolution in ME3. We can save one side, by wiping out another, or, if we try  hard enough, save both. 
Ultimately, however, it is up to us.
Hopefully, DA:I will provide a kindred choice.

Wanna know what I find annoying?

People who Keep whining about how they absolutely hate faction X or character Y and want to wipe out / kill them in the next game. I can understand it in case of certain characters, but most of These demands just Sound like childish "Rah, I don't like mages/templars/elves/qunari/Krogans/Batarians/... because not every single one of them shares my opinion so I want to KILL THEM ALL!"

Some Mages Rebell? Wipe them out! Every libertarian, every aequitarian, every ten year old magically gifted child because mages obviously suck balls!

Some Templars are oppressive rapists? Wipe them out! No matter if 80% of them are just soldiers trying to protect the rest of Thedas from dangers like Abominations and Blodd Magic, because they are trying to take away ma freedom!

Some Batarians are slavers? Wipe them out! Kill their families, their children, all the common People living normal lives on their homeplanets, because they are killing and enslaving my fellow humans (who never did anything similiar throughout their entire history)!

Gnaaaah! Sorry, I just hate this generalization and mindless killing requests everywhere. '

EDIT: Oh, seems the OP just meant smaller situations like in DA:O where you could either side with templars or mages in one specific Scenario. I don't know why this Feature shouldn't return, has already been there a few times and makes sense to return.

And I hated it, just like so many other things about that game...

I was really hoping Bioware would feature the Bataraians in a more prominent role in ME3. There where already so many sympathetic ones in ME2 and then in ME3 when they had the Chance to show them as equal race to the others and how they sufferd from the reaper attack the hardest, they where reduced to some minor NPCs hanging arround at the Citadel without any further characterisation.

If they had just replaced that awful sexbot thing EDi or that boring brick Vega with a well written Batarian squadmate who had EVERY reason to be there then... gnaaaah, wrong Forum, I guess. Sorry for OT.

Well, let's be fair, the Dalish were only roaming brigands in DA:O.  DA:2 was self defense against a band of wanderers that were forced into one place.  Because there wasn't an option to just turn Merrill over.

i said as we could in other games... i didnt mean full scale genocide. seems like my poor knowledge of english caused misunderstanding. for that im sorry.

They had it coming too. 
And I'm all for another "visit" to the Dalish, it's almost inevitable that it'll end the same way - you'd think for a race that's already close to extinction that they'd learn not to antagonize and attack everyone.
By the time they all attacked my Mage Hawke in DA2 he was all to happy to return the favor after getting insulted and threatened for a good six years or so.

Am I the only one who sees the irony, looking at your "I support the templars" signature?  


Regarding the OP, I support more choices to alienate or kill entire factions in game, but I would like to see harsher consequences. In DAO you kill the mages and automatically get support from the templars. Poor or extreme choices should leave you without any allies, similar to ME2 where you can kill off almost everyone in your suicide mission.

My mind is limited because I'm anti-genocide?

If you wanted to roleplay a character who would always slaughter anyone of either these factions when given the opportunity and you simply wanted more opportunities you probably should have clarified that.

Bioware games have always offered a mutil-faceted approah to solving problems, force, corecion/intimidation or diplomacy to solve problems non-violenty and I assume DAI will be no different. And since we've always been able to resort to violence in Bioware games, and should therefore assume you will have opportunities to kill members of these factions anyways, forgive us for being confused by what your asking for, and assuming you approve of genocide. If you just wanted to tell people you don't like dalish and mages, then you should have just said so, and maybe researched what the term "wipe out" generally refers to.
