Oh, right!

I forgot to remind everyone that the Dalish have the most humane and successful system for mage/mundane relations known to Thedas. Their success rate in-game for dealing with Blood Magic and abominations is every bit as high as the Circle, except that with the Dalish, their system didn't collapse under its own limitations and result in worldwide warfare.

Okay, now I'm done.

The Dalish are a pile of FAIL. Both clans we saw were led to ruin by their Keepers. Not to mention that when a Keeper goes abmination, it usually results in a clan dissapearing.

Freedom is a much greater good than mere luxury. Luxury without freedom is simply a luxurious prison.

Don't make me drag out some tired platitude (like yours about freedom) just to tell you how pure freedom is a horrible concept and is inhumane in its own right. Remember plato tells us that the relentless drive for freedom and democracy aways leads to tyranny because we want security.

Political and social theory aside, total mage freedom would inevitable lead to problems, however templar tyranny to the extreme is no better. Hence some social contract is preferable, where both sides compromise and share responsibilites, though the iron fist of the inquisition is nessessary like before to achieve that goal. (By kicking both their asses back in line.)

Also leave the elves alone, they keep to themselves and refuse to assimilate so you think murder (removal of the out group) is justified. Though destroying the chantry i wouldnt mind as i cant abide neutrality.

Nope.
There are consequences for actions in DAI.
Laidlaw has said certain actions can lock a player out of large sections of the game. Laidlaw said that in an interview .
Naturally when I mentioned that in another thread some silly player refused to accept it and attacked me. I had to report him to a mod. shrugs.
People can play the game however they want to or whatevah, lol, thdy can't say they haven't been warned and they need to be prepared to deal with the consequences .
