Does Bioware ever offer any specials on the DLC or cheaper bundles? They never came out with a compilation for Dragon Age 2 like they did with the Dragon Age Ultimate edition. You can pick up DA2 for less then $15 now. Heck, I picked mine up from Amazon a year ago for $8. The DLC however will cost me $37 to purchase all of the buyable DLC. That seems like quite a bit for such an old game. I'd love to pick it up but it's hard to justify shelling out over four times as much for DLC as I spent on the original game.

Anyway, I Was just curious if the DLC was ever put on sale.

Thanks.

There are sales from time to time, though I think the last one occured around Christmas.

I would not worry about buying all the DLC. Buying the item packs plus the three story DLCs are a bit of overkill, as you'll wind up with a crapload of equipment you can't use.

If you just want to do a quick playthrough of Dragon Age 2, I would take a look at the two item packs, decide which one I like better and then buy that one.

The story DLCs add a bit more length and variety to the game. IMO, I would get Legacy first and maybe Mark of the Assassin or The Exiled Prince if you're feeling flush.

The Black Emporium is a nice add-on to have but not essential.

Also, keep in mind that the Black Emporium and THe Exiled Prince can only be played during DA2 itself, whereas Legacy and Mark of the Assassin can be played after DA2.

I don't think Bioware do via this site but on Origin there are (occasionally) sales. I'd guess that when Steam has their summer sale Origin will follow suit (it did last year).

Legacy is the only one I'd really say was worth getting.
