I always wondered why we haven't seen a female kossith in the game... but it's probably the same reason why we haven't seen any female Turian or salarian too. They tend to put all male only in a race (except humans and elves). Idgi. <_<

I want to see female Kossith as well as female Dwarves. No, I EXPECT to see them. In a game that is supposed be as big as DAI is promoted to be, there is no reason not to have them.

Unfortunately, I never got to play MoTA, but from what I've read I get the impression Tallis wasn't 100% commited to the Qun. I hope we meet her in 3 though

If there's a female Qunary, I predict it will be an Asari look-alike, just in grey. I further predict that the only thing about them gigantic in size will be their breasts.

Nope. The qunari didn't particularly interest me in either of the previous games.

From the images, Qunari women just look gray human females with horns. I hope Bioware actually uses their imagination and make the women look 'Qunari', with the similar stylization, muscle distribution and facial features to the males. I'm tired of concept art for female creatures just looking like beautiful idealized humans with etc, etc. This would also help a great deal with the believability of the design and show us that actual thought went into it.

DA2 elves did this well in terms of creating a race that looked the same across genders, but the same cannot be said (yet) about the Qunari.

The tentatively canon name for the species is kossith.

On topic, even if not a permanent companion, I'd like one as a temporary one for a DLC campaign, similar to Nyreem in ME3.
