It's one thing when you're only meeting a single member of a given race (Sten in DAO) to not have both genders represented. If we're moving through society, encountering (even in passing) lots of individuals from a given race or group, and there's only one gender apparent, it's just bad design, full stop. It was bad design in ME, and it was bad design in DA2.

Seriously, though, I hope to see them and with the extended development time I am borderline expecting to see them.

Just watch. They'll be covered in a sheet with two eyeholes, a la Eve in ME3. Bioware's insta-female!

As long the story is good they can have a broodfather with pink hair and blue nails that I don't care.
If the PLOT demands that we to meet a female qunari, we'll see a female qunari. If not then wait for the next chapter of this world.

Pfft, female turians. That would be an interesting thing to see in Thedas.dielveio wrote...

They have beautiful baby ogres. A Qunari broodmother. *shudders* That is definitely something I would not like to see.Tarek wrote...

P.S. For those that say Tallis was a female qunari who fought, my understanding as that while she followed some of the tenants she still did not accept all of their beliefs.

You've seen what they do to Qunari mages and Tal-Vashoth what do you thank they would do to a transsexual qunari. And yes I would love to see a female qunari and have her as a LI.WittingEight65 wrote...

I'd be more interested in seeing a female Tal'vashoth. The whole females can't be warriors just irks me in general, and I'd hate to hear that from the mouth of another female. (Of course if we travel to their homelands then I'd expect to see them.)

It's more of a...females cannot be SOLDIERS or have a place in the military. Tallis was a memember or the Ben-Hassereth. They allowed her to fight because it was her job to "enforce" the Qun. If you watch the mini series by Felicia Day they tell her to go capture the Saarebas. Look through Mary Kirby's Questions about the Qunari it clears it up in her responses.

Yes. So bad.
I always wondered why we haven't seen a female kossith in the game... but it's probably the same reason why we haven't seen any female Turian or salarian too. They tend to put all male only in a race (except humans and elves). Idgi. <_<
Sorry to say but you don't know much about Mass Effect lore and obviously you haven't played The Citadel DLC OR OMega DLC both have Female Turians. As for the lack of knowledge past, it is said in the codex that the Dalatrasses are all female. Meaning that talk you have with the Primach Wrex/Wreav and the Salarian Dalatrass...that's a female salarian.

In fact, I would be pretty happy if I didn't see a single Qunari again, male, female och the annoying nose-stealing kind.
Besides, I think that concept art of a Kossith female is a bit boring. It just looks like a hot human with horns. Could have been bit more imaginative.

"Those Who Speak" features one, the Tamass'ra, and she's every bit as bad as the males. Even worse, I'd say, since it appear the Tamass'ran are the chief indoctrinators. "Convert or be mind-wiped", yeah.
