This is the only thing that continues to confuse me. I'll fight an enemy whose health bar seems to remain indefinitely at [== - == ] and only lowers after ten to twenty hits. It doesn't necessarily frustrate me, I just don't understand why it is this way technically (Mind you, my hits are connecting when the enemy isn't blocking).
How do enemy health bars work?

Yeah support styles that don't do actual damage is the only way I see that happening.
