That's interesting to hear. I know alot of people think Nevarra is modeled after Spain because of the name, but it seems they also have Spanish accents then as well.

In DA2 it's a little bit difficult to determine, because she lisps a bit. Some parts sounds German, but she also uses e.g. the "th". A real German person would only use the "t", e.g. "tis" and not "this".

I think Germans speak "zis", not "tis". "Tis" is spoked by swamp witches

No it's "tis", because Germans don't know the "th" and use the rough "t". I'm from Germany, so I should know it. In my native Saxon accent it's also "dis"

I apologize then. My friend from Schwaben pronounces "this" or "that" as "zis" and "zat".

I've not a clue where her accent is from but I'd really hate to make her angry.  Her VA did a great job in DA:2.

Oh, and if you're still playing DA:2 or plan to play it again, I found a sweet mod that will make Cassandra look more like she did in Dawn of the Seeker.  You can find it at DragonageNexus.

I know that it's cringeworthy. Having to spend a whole game listening to that might drive me nuts, unless the VA finds a way to soften her speech.

You know, that doesn't sound far fetched at all. It really does sound quiet Belgian... Why didn't I think of that?
