Yeah, she looks modeled after her VA, even her ears. The eyes are different though. I admit I was a bit disappointed with the look she had in the trailer, her face just looks awkward. And her eyes were more intense in DA2. I hope they are going to adjust her a bit.

I love the little hearts, when I got World of Thedas and saw Cassandra concept art in it, she had the little hearts and my reaction was "I hope they keep these for the in-game model, it's awesome". And they did!!!!

I am really looking forward to having Cassandra as a companion in DAI. She is such a cool character. She is, in a word, Badass! And I love that. I had no idea that Miranda Raison had voiced her in DA2, which makes me like her even more I hope Cass is voiced by Ms. Raison again. Actually one of the few pleasant surprises of DA2 was the way Cassandra looked.
Not as good in DAI but it's still early.
If she's one hand of the Divine and Leliana is the other that would tend to make them rivals I suspect.

I too hope they stay because they're an awesome little detail. IMO those little things are giveaways that there is actually a big romantic softy hidden inside that tough hardened warrior.

I did read one of todays online articles about nuanced romances .
Supposed, and this is my interpretation of what was writen which I hope doesn't provoke undue criticism .....rolls eyes...... whether you can romance someone will be based upon decisions you make in the game and not so much on approval .
So presumably, and this is MY opinion if you want to romance Cassandra for instance you will need to carefully consider sweeping decisions you make and how they may affect her.
I feel this wilk make romances much more difficult to initiate and maintain.

Its just some talk on the forums. Nothing major.

But it does make some sense if you think about it. Bioware said they are going to scale down on romances. We already know we got 3 females. I'm getting the feeling Cassandra will get the Aveline treatment and that Vivi and that elfen girl will become the female LI's.

Nothing is certain though, this is just speculation.

She did look way bigger than I thought she needed to be in the video I saw.

I don't think she looks really manly.... But then again, I'm a sucker for woman with short hair

I hope that she's only like Aveline in being able to bench press oxen and be able to play chicken with a rampaging Ogre and have it blink first... not make the lack of romance even worse by getting married to a man with no personality in Act II!

Well, me too, I love Jack from Mass Effect (which had no hair at all) it's just that I think her face doesn't suit the hair. But yes, depends on taste  I hope she will be available as a LI though

It was just some Rapscallions gossiping, nothing more!

I'm 99% sure Cass will be an LI as there has not been an LI like her in either DAO or 2. A strong, badass worrior.
+ the whole "Scaling down of Romances" was, @ least to me Bioware saying that they have to control themselves sometimes that they don't put too much content into them. So don't worry:wizard:

On another note, Cass has the Same Voice actor yeah? Miranda Raison? Sounded pretty much the same to me,
just a bit less French/Greman & more British;)
