Yes I liked the consoling part.
Definitely not as pretty as she was in DA2.
Maybe once she and the Inquisitor get back to the stronghold they'll look better after they get cleaned up.
Then they can knock boots as Zevran would say. rotfl.

Nah...Looking at Cassandra from the demo she has this ability called Armor Bash...

So it would be "Inquisitor and Cassandra can bash each other armors off" :P

I know I would gladly let her bash my Inquisitor's armor off if I could...

Since her anti-door crusade in the pax demo, this thread tile is even more accurate

Still love the character (and that door bashing was awesome) but I must say I am greatly disappointed by the reworking of her face. Her facial traits in DA2 were feminine and attractive. But in this demo, it's like all femininity is gone.

I like how she looked in the demo. Obviously different compared to DA2, but still recognisably Cass. I felt the same with Varrics updated look, except I dont find Varric pretty.

Plus, 'take that door'.

My only complain about her new looks is that she's hardly recognizable. Remove armour and I wouldn't know it was her.
I guess it's because her eyes are smaller and less bright (they're supposed to be amber, not brown) and dark make up is gone. Hair-style is smaller too
Otherwise she looks fine, just... not much like Cassanda from DA2

This was still pre-alpha so things might change. ;)

May be it's just me but I think Cassandra starting to look even more closer to Antje Traue.

Camera angle, I guess...

You know, it never occurred to me 'til now that she would be in her forties or fifties.

Im sure there will be reasons to assault keeps on ways other than having we bang down the door. I will never know them, as I won't do them.

I think she look's fantastic in Inquisition. Her still image in the trailer was a bit strange, but when I saw her actually speaking in the PAX demo I thought she looked brilliant.

So glad her original voice actress seems to be back as well.

If she was around 20 in Dawn of the Seeker(haven't seen the movie) then she would be around 40 in DAI, since DotS is 18 years before DAI.

Yeah, she's not in her fifties. I would say 42 at most.

Yes she does look like that lady.
Even if she is 10 years older than our Inquisitor.
Even Wynne said she had had younger men in her bed.
I don't know how easy it would be to pretty Cassandra up.
Or if Bioware will even want to.

Screenshot from the PAX demo. Like many, I'm hoping she's romanceable in the game.

It seems that BioWare has made a mistake with Cass: When they remade her in the new engine they accidentally ported Aveline's face. Seriously, I mistook her for a guy until she spoke. I can't quite put my finger on the issue - the Aveline-esque jaw, the more rounded cheeks, the smaller cheekbones - but she just doesn't look like Cass.

EDIT: OK, looking back through the pics on her wiki page it may just be another bad angle/lighting issue because the DA:I pictures in that page's gallery look fine.

As for her being a LI, if she isn't I'll personally send her writer to the Void (kidding!). I want it to be between Cass and the mohawk elf chick. However, BioWare hasn't done many female warriors as LIs for a while (I don't know if BG2 had one, but since KotOR only ME1 Ashley would count) so I'm not holding my breath.

Putting aside the couple theory, I liked
the scene after Crestwood was destroyed, where Cassandra seems to
console Varric. Bioware mentioned in the official site that they'll show
that the companions will form different relationship between them. I
approve of this, and that scene could be a sign of it..

I do too, the fact that followers don't really interact much has been a big gripe of mine for the last couple of games. Now for evil speculation time: between this and BioWare's love of fan tears is it entirely possible that we'll get an Inquisitor/Cass/Cullen romance triangle (that we could lose)? That would be... interesting.

I actually think this image of her looks the most like her DA2 appearance. The Fires Above one sort of did, I mean I knew who it was from the begginning, but it was missing the elongated jaw. I think it's just the graphic fidelity (I think that's the right term) or rather the lighting and it being closer to realism than an actual change. Plus she seems to be wearing the heaviest armor to date (for her). A lot there to draw the eye away from her actual face.

So is anyone else wondering what exactly is in the book Cassandra carries with her? The Divine gives it to her at the end of Dawn of the Seeker, and the section of it that we see in DA2 shows that it has at least some information about Hawke and his companions. Maybe it's details about how to go about reforming the Inquisition in case of emergency? Or maybe it's a list of people who may be willing to lend the Seekers a hand if needed?

I believe that was a mistake. The animators clearly intended for it to be the same book that is seen in DAI but, according to David Gaider, "Dawn of the Seeker" happens years before the Blight. The Divine shown in the movie is not Justinia, for instance but her predecessor.

Most likely, but it's also entirely possible that it's like the Red Book of Westmarch from LotR. It has some stories/information written in it but there is still a lot of blank pages left. Hawke's story is only in the middle of the book after all.

EDIT: Links to pictures (because I don't know how to just post pics). Compare the book thickness
Start of Hawke's story

Whole book
