Are people obsessing? This thread is only 18 pages long. For a character thread on the BSN that's pretty tame.

If I had to guess why a character with such a small part thus far has garnered as much interest as she had, I'd say it's due in part to the personality we've seen so far, what we know about her past (Dragon Hunting) and her character type (warrior, ball buster, etc).

That said, I found her pretty downright irritating in DA2.

Cassandra has a 90 minutes anime and Aveline doesn't have much in common with Cassandra beside both being woman warriors and dedicated.

I mean, Aveline doesn't have anger management issues (or childhood PTSD).

Love Cassandra. She is a type of "strong woman", but not chainmaile-bikinied one. She is hot-tempered and severe fighter, but not a fanatic, maniac or so on; she has heart and intelligence and deep inside she is romantic.

Well, she wouldn't be the head of the secret police force at all if Lambert hadn't quit and apparently taken a good chunk of the Seekers with him.  Just saying.

I don't think she's just a random seeker, she is referred to as the right hand of the divine at one point so she holds some degree of influence.

She was (or maybe still is for new divine ) that for previous divine and i also hero of orlais (but only for "saving" divine) but officially she is just seeker nothing more that leliana is left hand of divine hardly gives her any rights unless we are talking about doing dirty work for her.

Pardon me, I translated a Russian expression "с умом и сердцем" too literally. ) I meant that she is severe warrior of Chantry and low, but she isn't fanatic. She listen to the arguments of reason and keeps her word. And she also is funny )
