Not a lot to go on but a couple of recent posts on David Gaider's personal blog indicate that she might be romancable.

Here, he confirms himself as her writer:

Interesting! I thought Sheryl Chee wrote Cass but I have faith in Gaider too. Just as long as it was his character to begin with. Also fingers crossed for our Cass romance! 

Edit: Though Gaider smilling isn't always a good thing. He can be quite evil

What are the odds she will be confirmed as a LI on Valentine's Day?

As good as the odds that we'll actually get anything on Valentine's Day which I would say are minimal at best and non-existant at worst.

I suspect however that since she's just about the "face" of Inquisition (or has been for the last few years) that she will be. There's also the possibility of her pulling an Aveline, but idk it depends. I'm interested to see how she and Varric teamed up because it seemed like she left him behind in DA2. I can get behind them traveling together, but I want to know what spurred it on.

Yeah I suspect this is the case, though Leliana and Cass said they were going back to the original plan or whatever.
