Do we know or have we been given any indication if Nevarra is one of the locations we will visit?
I think that the only confirmed locations so far are Orlais and Ferelden. It would be nice being able to also visit Nevarra, though.

Her credentials are obivious:
1. She is the right hand of the Divine and a seeker of high rank.
2. She is the hero of Orlais.
3. She's a heck of a warrior and capable of killing dragons. Hence number four.
4. Her last name is Pentaghast. Not only are they the royal family of Nevarra who happen to have a genetic aptitude for strategy and tactics but also renowned dragon hunters. Heck before the dragon age the people of Thedas thought they were extinct.
Now David Gaider has said that the game's story will touch on this. This is one of the many reason why i am excited for this game.
Now if only we had a release date.

In the same way that Fenris was a representative from Tevinter? Dorian seems to have no love for the place. In any case, not only does Cassandra have the "holy warrior" niche covered in the party already, but any theoretical heroic templars will almost certainly remain loyal to the Chantry.hhh89 wrote...
@Xilizhra: it depends. The Chantry and the templars are different organizations now. It'd make sense to have two different characters to express their viewpoint. Plus, the game might have a rapresentative from Tevinter.

I'm wondering about that too. After Dawn of the Seeker, we know that Cassandra is one of those rare heroes that can do the impossible, anime exaggerations notwithstanding. She's also in a position of great influence. My only guess is that the Inquisitor will get some kind of power, maybe the ability to close the Veil Tears, that can't be duplicated. So Cassandra will have to follow orders.G. Recruit wrote...

I'm more intrigued about why she would join the Inquisition in the first place instead of staying with the loyal Seekers.

It's possible that the Chantry is left in such utter ruin that the power structure is in no shape to deploy any of said Seekers.Misticsan wrote...

I guess it could be. For all we know, maybe the Seekers that are with Cassandra in DAII are the only ones left loyal to the Divine. That would be depressing for Justinia. And for Cassandra too: a Knight-Commander, a Grand Cleric, now the Lord Seeker... How many Chantry traitors has she met by now?Xilizhra wrote...

I think that you and Cassandra will be co-founders, and that Cassandra can have a large amount of power within the organisation should you allow her it. Maybe as much or even more than yourself.G. Recruit wrote...

As for why she alone isn't leading it, it's been said that the Inquisitor is the only survivor of the event that tore the veil, so presumably you have some kind of knowledge or experience that places you at the top.

We decide who lives and dies.
We are the strongest force in the DA universe. (When we get control that is)
And by the power of plot we will fall into power.

If it helps, I'm fairly sure that Lambert is dead. Asunder doesn't seem to be being used for plot points in this game much, if at all (no Cole either, and Fiona seems to slip in only due to being in multiple books). ME's books weren't really used to construct ME3 either, with the single exception of Kai Leng.Misticsan wrote...

I don't recall that Dorian hated Tevinter. Even if he wants to change things, he's still a magister, and rapresents a view where mages are free and in position of power.
A templar companion doesn't have to fill in the holy warrior/paladin niche. He has to fill the templar's point of view. But we have different opinions about the templars that left the Chantry (Even though we're both not pro-templars), so we'll probably have different opinions on the addition of a templar separatist in the party.

To be frank, our roster is already pretty full and we already have three warriors: Cassandra, the Iron Bull, and the Grey Warden. Assuming we're not going full warrior oversaturation like we did with DAO (and even then, the non-DLC warriors who could actually talk were restricted to three), there's no real space left.A templar companion doesn't have to fill in the holy warrior/paladin niche. He has to fill the templar's point of view. To be honest, Sebastian got the pro-templar line across pretty well, in my opinion.

Well I think we know which character will be Bioware's tsundere romance this time around.
I feel like one of the few and the proud who doesn't like Cassandra. I find her annoying.
And didn't she have some creepy attraction to her brother or something?
I dislike her enough to give her some Murder-Knife at the first meeting.

Well, I wouldn't state anything about how Asunder's characters will play in Inquisition since the game hasn't been released yet. For all we know, maybe every character in Asunder will appear, and Lambert's fate was left vague enough for him to appear alive or not appear at all. Still, I hope the player has the option to ask Cassandra about him.Xilizhra wrote...

"Cassandra, you said that the Seekers of Truth are the right hand of the Divine, didn't you?"
"Yes, Inquisitor. The Seekers are the finest and most loyal of the Chantry warriors, handpicked by the Divine herself. "
"Then tell me, how come your Lord Seeker leads the Templar rebellion?"
"..."
"Maybe Her Holiness had drunk too much the day she picked Lambert?"
"Shut up, Varric!"
By the way, who is this "Dorian"?

If Lambert was simply dead, why would they bother classifying him as MIA? I'm of a mind that Cole is walking around in his body, or at least did something to him to make him disappear.Xilizhra wrote...

I'd like to have a 3/3/3 class ratio for the party, so Yeah, this along with IB would mean we'll not have a templar companion, but for now we can't be sure about it.
I guess we'll know if they reveal all companions, but i remember that Laidlaw/Darrah stated that some will remain secrets on twitter.

I have the feeling he'll be a major NPC in the story. Again, I hope I'm wrong since i'd like to have a non-human warrior/qunari, but for now I'm a bit pessimistic.

I have the same feeling as well. "Iron Bull" have been shown too much without being revealed as a companion while lesser exposed characters where revealed as companions for him to be one. Morrigan gets a lot of exposure and we know she's important to the plot and not a companion.

I don't see how a single Qunari mercenary could have a large enough role in a plot involving international-scale conflict to be featured in an in-game footage trailer without being a companion. I'm also sure they only announced Vivienne so that they had a mage to show in early footage and the Pax demo.azarhal wrote...
