People seem assured that Cassandra is an LI, but she and Varric have become traveling companions. How do we know if the two of them ended up "knocking boots" before they meet the Inquisitor?

And yes, this is a deliberate attempt to stir the pot.

I wanted my human Inquisitor to romance her, but now we can have an elf PC, everything is up in the air. If we can be Dalish mages, I'll go for Cullen, for regular rogue elves....I don't know yet...need....more...information!!!

Note that both DA games have had just two female LI, one rogue and one mage.

Cassandra could be out first female warrior LI.

Cassandra for LI, make it happen bioware!

Someone needs to make a banner promoting Cassandra as an LI so us fans can show our support.

She is not Isabela dude! Although resisting Varric's charm is probably hard even for Cass

I have to admit, whenever I see Cassandra threads my initial reaction is usually: "This chick again?! What's the big deal? We know next to nothing about her. She's just kind of there." And then I realized she is to male players what Cullen is to female players and just went "oh, okay, I get it now."

Thats alright! 

I can't speak for every Cassandra fan out there ofcourse, but I personally really like her because she comes off as a strong independed woman who won't just agree with everything you do. I also expect and hope she won't be easy to romance.

I can imagine her belief in duty might lead us into something like this:

Cassandra: There is a rip in the Veil, demons and dragons are pouring into the world, Mages, Templars, and everyone else is trying to kill each other! Just what do you expect to happen with us?

Inquisitor: Sex. Mind-blowing sex.

Cassandra: .... You're deflecting again, aren't you?

Inquisitor: (grins) Yep. Someone needs to do it. I'm doing it for us, babe.

In DA2 it's a little bit difficult to determine, because she lisps a bit. Some parts sounds German, but she also uses e.g. the "th". A real German person would only use the "t", e.g. "tis" and not "this".

I would say a Spanish accent then, since Spaniards speak Spanish with a lisp.  That's one big distinction between Mexican and Spaniard Spanish.

First off it's great to see Cass Back!

As For her personal quests? I hope they explore
1) Her noble orgin
2) Her rather negative expierences with Blood Mages
3) Her time as a seeker
4) (I might be wrong about this but) Her Dragon Hunting bad assery 

And then for the Romance? I don't know really  If I was to guess it would be kinda like Ashley in ME1 for how "Real" she was, with a dash of Miranda with the whole professionalism/"Cold Shoulder" ( Especially if you are a mageB))at the start but warms up to you as you impress her + with the seriours Heart to heart to heart stuff (Like how her brother was killed) then the the good natured teasing when around the others;). Varic might write a tale about it too!(or for who ever else you romanced)
She seems like the type who likes good guys so that's great as thats how I play my DA characters.

All in all I'm super excited to see what happens in DAI, and learning more about Cass especially^_^

But a quick question here guys, do you think I should play as a mage first to make the whole thing more scandalous? An Ex templar & a Mage? Varic will have a feild Day with this One:lol:

She's a contender for the Nevrran throne, is she not? 

Personal quest could be something to do with that...

Well we don't have much to go on at the moment but she has alot of potiential to be an awesome adition to the cast. + With David Writing Her (I think:lol:) It's all but in the Bag already:wizard:

I'm telling you man, Greatest love story of all time. You tought "Hard in Hightown" was a hit? Wait until Varic Pens this epic tale

I think her personal quest will probably involve that elven girl and that mage guy from Dawn of the Seeker. Can't romance her until you take care of the competition *sharpens murder knife*. Unless he's dead or an abomination but if he's possessed then I can see that as a huge part of personal quest.
I do hope she doesn't end up like Aveline and is non-romancable.
