Hmm... you think we will be able to wear hats like that one? I'd like that witchhunter look for some inquisitor.Das Tentakel wrote...

People sure like to make a lot of assumptions about the word 'Inquisition'.
'Inquisition' is just a fancy word for 'investigation'. An inquisition can have a political or religious element, but it is by no means required. The fact that the term has been used in the past to refer to extremely violent events is pure circumstance and nothing more.
Ah, but BioWare isn't using a dictionary, they are using a well-known term with pretty common associations. The fact that DA's Inquisition was and is an organisation, is a pretty clear indication that it's based on the popular concept of 'the Inquisition' as an organised entity, rather than a process. The name Inquisition sells; it's associated with fanaticism, violence and more than a hint of sadism. And that's 'awesome' from a PR / marketing perspective.
Man, will people get disappointed when, after applying the Comfy Chair 10 times, they get the 'Fluffy Bunny Inquisitor' achievement...

Finally someone I agree with lol. I don't think at all it's a bad name. Quite the opposite. The word has the power to intrigue for me. And I don't think many folks wouldn't buy a game over a word issue...Das Tentakel wrote.... The name Inquisition sells; it's associated with fanaticism, violence and more than a hint of sadism. What class is she? (If you look at Dawn of the Seeker then it should be Warrior IMHO, but if you look at some of the new Pictures and Ingame footage, she could be a Rogue, too (some - most IMHO - Pictures show her in what i would say is light armor and that is strange, as Warriors in DA normally do not wear that, as it does not offer enough protection for their fighting style (they don't sneake, they don't turn invisible or use smoke etc. - they attack directly thus heavy armor is a must IMHO) - why is that?)

You can see something that look quite a bit like what she's wearing in those shot, the example also include heavy armors.

And it's not really consistent with previous appearances.
It could be the angle, though, in the trailer.

I'm hoping her hero of Orlais status is brought up in some aspect. Theres a lot of stock put into the warden being the hero of ferelden and Hawke being the champion of Kirkwall, It'd be a shame if they downplayed her role from DOTS.
That being said, since shes a hero like the warden and Hawke, shes lucky she hasn't disappeared. Yet!
Prolly cause she didn't meet Flemeth:ph34r:

Yeah, but that's her animu interation, so by default she's going to look more delicate. I like her new look better.

She's a warrior.
then why the light armor? (heavy plate would be more usefull - unless the seeker-specialisation (if there is such a thing...) relies on the character not being burdened too much!)
I mean if i go back to DA:O or even DA2 then Heavy Plate Armor is the best thing he/she can have (as it absorbs damage best)....

In both DA:O and DA2 armor had a specific strength requirements to be able to wear the heaviest pieces. Maybe she put all her points in Wisdom, Magic, Cunning, Constitution and/or Dexterity...

It has already been stated that Cassandra will always have the sort of coat-like look to her amor, but I'm guessing the armor we have seen her in so far are like pre level 10 armor, that is why they look more like 'light armor'. I'm guessing it is actually categorized as heavy armor in gameplay terms however.
Also, Cassandra is obviously a warrior since she is using a two handed sword.

maybe you are right...still looks a little fragile for me, that armor (not to say it doesn't look good - it does IMHO)

It's not a two-handed sword, unless they extremely reduced their size from the one used by the "PC" in the pre-alpha footage. Her sword is twice as small, handle and blade included. Although, Rogue don't use sword and neither do mage, so it still make her a warrior.
You can wonder why she's using it in her right or left hand, as well as with her two hands in different screenshots. Staged or not, she seems to have a new fighting style, unless we are getting a new warrior weapon style...
If she really switching her weapon hand, it's mean BioWare is trying to stay true to DotS though. She was ambidextrous in that movie, with a preference for her left hand in some circonstances (ex: kiling dragons) and right in others (smash blood mages to bits). The Follower customization blog and another concept art shows her unsheathing her sword with her left hand too. Although, it might just be BioWare artists being unable to make a difference between left and right (Aveline companion selection pose comes to mind).

Also Cass seems to bounce around a lot(Dawn of the Seeker), so lighter armor would fit her fighting style better.
Bounced like her checks did back in the day!

She wears DA2 heavy armour. Just not the alistair plate armour variant.
