I didnt look at the vid but nice job on the time bud. Wish some of the pc guys would jump in and do their version of a speed run attempt too. Its always interesting to see the differences in play between both. Not sure we will see it though which is unfortunate.

I trust only a few elite pc gamers to be legit. D_naught, Cricketer, Redjohn, Stentron, feneckus, FFandrade, Chantheman and some more I might be forgetting.

Ofcourse I have no proof but still suspicious about many:bandit:

Hm I had missed this comment due to mostly just wanting to congratulate you on the solo. 

Caine you need to remember that except for the Valkyrie Reegar combo rule those Thunderdome rules were made up by you only. Those rules were specific to simply solo'ing the Thunderdome and cannot apply to anything "speed run" related.

When it comes to speed runs everyone uses the most optimal, high DPS kits they can combine to achieve the greatest success. You chose the GI in this instance which is the traditional kit mostly used for speed running. I know this as the Hurricane/Harrier GI are of of the basic kits we all use for speed running. This means that NO kit can be neglected on any speed run as it is all about TIME not the kit. So whe it comes to speed running the Thunderdome rules you mention are null and void and should never even be considered when it comes to speed runs.

Speed runs also need to be categorized into two categories. One is where armored compartments are used to take advantage of the spawn system and the other where there is NO armored compartments used. Both are valid speed runs but fall into two categories. In your case this is a non armored compartments run. The point is that once again you indicating the Thunderdome rules dont apply here either when it comes to speed runs.

I'd say it would be great to see other speed run attemps in both categories with various kits. Who knows? Maybe the PC guys would join in on the action as well and put in their times. I would say though that a speed run challenge for the Thunderdome would be a separate thread all on its own though. Maybe its something you can collaborate with the PC group and others who may be interested. It would definitely be something I would be interested in seeing.

Wish you had a recording device though. Print Screens defeat the purpose so much as it would be great to see the gameplay especially on PC solo's. I have personally learned a lot from watching both console and PC solo vids. Why didnt you Frap it? Its free. Also this was FB Giant. It would be cool to see that time on Thunderdome. Good job regardless man that's a feat. If you do solo the Thunderdome I'd totally watch that.

@INVADERONE.. I aleady know this. I set those rules for me personally so that wall was not needed. I didnt make this an official thing for everyone to do. Just for myself. I dont follow traditions. I simply do my own thing with my own rules. If others want to run this as a traditional speedrun with AC then thats on them.

You wrote "Thunderdome Rules" so I wanted to understand if you were (as you have done in the past) probably make this into a community challenge which I wrote and figured it would be a good thing. Dont worry man. I get you. Cant segway anything good with you. Keep on the defensive. Its working well for you.
