BioWare released a screenshot of a scene already seen in the trailer but now with better details.
I like the art direction so far, very distinctive. The lighting is very nice and atmospheric (that's not uncommon in a BioWare game, I loved Legacy for that).

I wonder why they didn't release a true 1080p trailer to let us see all the nice details! The screenshot looks good; I wonder if we'll be able to really control an army in some RTS scenes? Like Suikoden for example.

There's also a symbol on the right: some kind of artefact in a hand, and some kind of birds on columns.

Posted Image
We already saw those symbols here. So basically it's the fortress of the Seeker forces.

Update:
There were some screenshots post-E3 on the DA Facebook

Look at the last one, the helmets are not the same as the first I've posted.

How do those guys see through those Seeker helmets? Makes them look a bit bird-like.

Spent a lot of time wondering about that myself lol.
Their faces are behind those T-shaped things - those are the openings for eyes and mouth.

With all the bird imagery, I guess that's what they were going for.

Looks pretty uncomfortable.

The birds are owls.

Cassandra's armor has hearts on the pauldrons.

Argh! Even with the high quality picture I still can't ID that black object beside the Inquisition throne and Cassandra on the map.

And the object that looked like the Warden's cup+ griffin turn out to be a bird behind a lady that is wearing a "Chantry hat". So, that's would be the Templars (which makes sense, the Wardens being there looked very strange to me).

The skull on the DA2 book is strange too, there seems to be something in it.

"Cassandra's armor romanceable."
It's a great detail however. "Inquisitor, put your heart in my armor."

So it does! Clearly, she had that armour designed when she was 10.

I guess that's better than unicorns.

LOL! I was thinking it actually looked like something my 8 year old daughter would draw. :P Now Cass just needs her nails done with matching hearts.

I didn't.  Weishaupt is deep in the Anderfels, not on a grassy plain.

'

It's all part of the hell week they go through to qualify to be a seeker. Anyone who can't figure it out is dropped from the class.

Actually those aren't Seeker forces. Those are Inquisiton forces. See the symbol on their breastplate? Same as the Inquisition symbol:

Different than the Seeker symbol as it has the sword cutting through the eye.

That scene might not happen during the game. However I think it's possible that our PC will stand were Cassandra is standing and the 'army' might be replaced by our companions.

Hey, they're fighting strange stuff.  They have to bring their towels :P

I'm more creeped out by their helments.  Cool, but yeeargh

The texture makes it look like leather, rather than towelling.

This is what we have been reduced to now: dissecting screenshots. :D

To appeal to BDSM enthusiasts of course.

What's going on with her dagger hand? Is there a hand on the pommel of the dagger? I don't understand what I'm looking at there.
